CUFF, Aletha - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercey Home on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, Aletha Cuff (Butler), aged 85. Predeceased by her brother Gordon Butler. Leaving to mourn her husband Beaton, three brothers: Alex (Vera) of St. John's; Harold (Margaret) of Upper Island Cove, and Arch (Shirley) of Torbay; two sisters: Mary (Roy) Cook of Port Rexton, and Ruby (Stuart) Murray of Newmarket, Ont., cousin Daphne Butler (Harold) of Rice Lake, Ont., special niece Marilyn (Rennie) Wakeham of St. John's, also a number of other nieces, nephews, special neighbours and friends. Cremation has taken place by Aletha's request. Visitation is being held at Barrett's Funreal Hone, 329 Hamilton Ave., on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 11 and 12, 2004 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service to take place on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, from Barrett's Chapel at 2 p.m. Inurnment (sic) to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are being gratefully declined. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Patrick's Mercey Home or to a charity of one's choice.
