Lorsque j'étais jeune, et même encore aujourd"hui, l'aviation m'a toujours intéressé.
J'ai fait mon baptême de l'air le 14 octobre 1954 à bord d'un Fleet Canuck immatricule CF-DZW. Le pilote était M Léopold Cayer. J'avais alors 13 ans.
J'ai commencé mon cours de pilote en 1956 et j'ai fait mon premier vol solo le 24 juillet 1957 à bord d'un Cessna 140 immatriculé CF-EJT. J'avais alors l'âge minimum requis, 16 ans.
A l'époque, je passais mes plus belles journées à l'aéroport et je prenais des photos.

When I was young, and even today, aviation always interested me.
I had my first flight on October 14, 1954 aboard a Fleet Canuck registered CF-DZW. The pilot was Mr. Leopold Cayer. I was then 13 years old.
I began a pilot course in 1956 and I flew solo for the first time on July 24, 1957 aboard a Cessna 140 registered CF-EJT. I had then the minimum required aged of 16.
At the time, I used to spend many days at the airport and I was taking pictures.
