Bettini
Back to the other French Machines
Like the mahogany Edison Opera, the Bettini phonograph Nš 4 has two handles to facilitate the transportation (it seems that the machine never had any lid). The oak & mahogaky laminated horn is a reproduction I made myself, the nearest that I could, from an original. Notice the special red Bettini cylinder box lid with a round hole for the long carboard peg stuck in the box. (see Columbia AT with Bettini reproducer and Edison Home B with Bettini recorder).
From a French catalog.
