The Biophone

Here is a very special machine not often seen.  It has a stylish metal housing which, not like the one shown below, envelops nearly the whole mandrel.  A large slot is left to be able to play the cylinder and the stylus of the reproducer is nearly " long.  The special shaped key is used to undo the top screw and the horn support can be turned leaving less volume.  Notice the rare Hungarian cylinder box from Budapest.
