The Brandenburg
Back to the German Machines
Made by the Branbenburg & Rengert company in 1903, this machine is basically a Puck type cylinder phonograph installed in a wooden cabinet, the motor, governor, mandrel, horn and reproducer being exactly the same. The originality is that once closed, the machine can easily been carried. Notice the bubble level on the top of the cabinet.
The phonograph full open and closed.
From a German newspaper ad of March 1903.
