The Eisemann
Back to the German Machines
This cylinder phonograph is another curiosity, as it has no belt, being drived by a gear on the mandrel axis. Bought without lid at Christie's a long time ago, the lid is an "artist" reproduction made, of course, before the discovery of the catalog.
From a Ernst Eisemann & Co. catalog of 1901 from Stuttgart.
Hopefully, the machine already had also a round top lid.
