This cylinder phonograph was made at the Excelsior-Riessen-Phonographen Factory of Keulen.   Very remarkable by its all brass mechanism, it has some more particularities.  As seen below, it is one of the rare gear drive machines without any belt.  Also remarkable, a square shaped axis for the key contrarily to screw type for nearly all other cylinder machines.  On the second picture below, the extremity post is curiously ornamented
