Back to the other French Machines

Fondain manufactured Tin Foil phonographs at least from September 1879 till April 1881 when he made a bankrupcy.  There is nearly the same one (paint in black with gilding) at the Rennes secondary school, in France, with the receipt:

"Septembre 1879 - 1 phonographe, 150 f, acheté ŕ Fondain, Paris."

This other French Tin Foil phonograph, very close to the Fondain was made by Ducretet, a scientific instruments manufacturer.
