Back to the Edison phonographs
Known as the "Maroon Gem", because of its color, it was introduced in 1909 for $15.00. Equiped with a K reproducer, it is the first 2 & 4 minute Gem. Except the blue flowered Standard Model E morning glory horn this marked "Fireside" red horn (because used also on Fireside), made of two pieces connected by a screw, is the only Edison non black or wood grained horn (some one piece 8 panel Gem horns were also issued in blue and green).
