The Lionel Phonograph

This plastic wax cylinder phonograph toy was made by Lionel, the famous train manufacturer.  But, as seen below in a 1976 Christie's sale catalog, the same machine was identified as made by Tri-ang Rovex, an other famous model train maker.  The date of issue is 1955 for Tri-ang and 1962 for Lionel if the information found on Internet with the machine was true.  Which one is right?  Anyhow, this small phonograph seems to use a cut Dictaphone (sorry, Ediphone) wax cylinder. The design with a nearly exact disc type reproducer can look strange, but it works.
