In 1912, a new shaver was issued for the 4M blank wax cylinders at $4.50 and $8.00 with three blanks.  Instead of an high-speed revolution with a lathe like glass tool as on the previous ones, the cylinder has the speed of the handle and the metal knife is as wide as the record.  4" long mandrel.
