Edison Triumph

Back to the Stolen phonographs

This Edison Triumph cylinder phonograph has been stolen by burglary in an antique shop on the St-Paul street in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada around 1985 as well as an Edison Fireside phonograph.  It had, at that time a red morning glory horn with the outside of the cone part painted in black.  The particularity is that the two metal pieces, where the lid latches enter into the cabinet, fixed with two screws are made out of aluminum instead of iron (replacement ones).  This machine has no lid, as the thelves did not noticed where it was in the antique shop.
