The Styx is one of these Brand names of which even Marty does not say a word. The mechanism is basically a Graphophone Type B. On these machines, the end of the mandrel axis is always pointed. They wear, generally the name "Styx" stamped on the bed plate. This phonograph is equiped with a special (reproduction) 3 tubes connection used for recording trios. As shown below, a 2 only version was used to record duos. The cardboard horns are reproduction.
