The Maple Sap Harvester
This woodcarving was made by my wife's grandfather, Eugene Desrosiers at 81 years of age.
"When the first morning sun ray lights up the forest, the maple sap harvester begins his crop, on the small trail covered with melting snow, winding through the woods. The mild March wind carries the song of the awakening nature and the laughings of children celebrating the end of a long winter and the joy of the sugar feast."
