This summit without maintained trail is located East of Whiteface Mt. on an extension of it. A long ridge leads to its summit from the Wilmington Trail. Esther's summit has an open West side with a view to Whiteface Mt.. There is a commemorative plaque of its first ascent near the summit. This unmark trail is one of the easiest herd path to follow. The trail follows a ridge that begins just pass Lookout Mt. and has the Whiteface Mt. or Esther Mt. summit in sight almost all the time.
