The software is intended for the design of buildings subjected to a dynamic blast load using equivalent TNT charge, and allows for easy determination of all necessary data for the dynamic design or analysis of the building. Side-on and reflected pressures, blast wind ("dynamic" pressure), durations, shock front velocity, etc. Spherical and Hemispherical explosions. Reflected pressure history. Peak overpressure vs separation distance graph.
Idealized (linear) blast load is compared to theoretical (curve) blast load history, for verification of data.
Imperial or metric units are allowed.
Based upon the US ARMY manual T-5 1300, and "Design of Blast Resistant Buildings in Petrochemical Facilities", ASCE,1997, and "Structural Design for Dynamic Loads" by Norris et al.
It is the simplest and most powerful design tool of this kind available at a very low cost.
