| Welcome to our website! Choral Legacy is a local women's choir with over 20 members that hail from around the Cobourg area. We sing three and four part harmony in a wide variety of musical styles- from classical to jazz to show tunes. We perform two concerts each year - a Christmas program in December and a concert in May. We also sing at nursing homes, church services and other interesting venues when we can. Choral Legacy rehearses most Monday nights at 7:15 p.m. at the Baltimore United Church, 983 Burwash St. in Baltimore. Director Shasta Morey tries to keep a mix of fun and hard work at our practices, assisted by our wonderful accompanist Sidney Drew, musical director at the Baltimore Bethesda Pastoral Charge. Although a working knowledge of music is helpful, we rehearse note by note so that all musical skill levels are welcome in the group. The choir is currently run on a volunteer basis, so to date we haven't needed to collect dues, something we feel is important. It allows our members to come, relax and just enjoy singing!
