ROWE, Sara- Passed peacefully at St. Luke’s Home on Friday, July 29, 2005, Sara Rowe, age 92 years & 11 months. Predeceased by her husband Leighton and son Howard in 1983. Leaving to celebrate her life her daughter Jeanette Osmond and son in law Lloyd; daughter in law Ruby Rowe; grandchildren: Debbie (Reg) Laite, Heather (Randy) MacKay, James (Jill) Osmond, Valerie Rowe (Steve), Douglas (Diane) Rowe; great grandchildren Sarah and Evan Laite, and Samantha and Lauren MacKay; sisters in law: Pearl LeGrow, Doris Noseworthy and Annie Rowe; nieces, nephews; as well as a large circle of friends. Special thanks to the Doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Luke’s for their tender loving care. Also, thank you to Canon T.S. Honeygold, Rev. Gary Parsons and Rev. Stephen Adkins for their many visits and prayers. Visitation is being held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Saturday and Sunday, July 30 & 31, 2005 from 2pm-4pm and from 7pm-9pm. Funeral Service to take place on Monday, August 1, 2005 from Barrett’s Chapel at 2pm. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd. As expressions of sympathy flowers are being gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to St. Luke’s Home or a Charity of one’s Choice. William Martin Rowe (Bill) April 8, 2005
It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Martin Rowe announce his passing at the CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor on the 8th of April, 2005, at the age of 69. Bill retired from Abitibi. Predeceased by parents Walter and Nellie Rowe; brother Robert. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Eileen; sons William (Donna) of Kitchener, ON; David of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; Wade (Tina) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; daughters Elizabeth (Brian Reid) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; Diana (Craig Sansome) of Stratford, ON. Also leaving to mourn one brother and 7 grandchildren, along with a large circle of friends and relatives. Rev. Howard Crooks conducted the funeral service at the Memorial United Church on April 11, 2005. Interment was at the United Cemetery, Union St. Pallbearers were Brian Reid, Craig Sansome, Desmond Crawley, Ivan Osmond, Jerry LeDrew, Vince Christian. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Lorna Mews and Mike Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes. Donations To Heart and Stroke Foundation or Flowers are accepted

Christina Barbara Rowe (nee Kampner) March 2, 2005
Passed away March 2, 2005 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center in Grand Falls-Windsor, Christina Barbara Rowe. She was 77 years of age. Christina was the owner on an antique store known as the Trading Post. She was predeceased by her parents; one brother; and her husband, Ernest Rowe (1994). Left to mourn are her son Freddy (Wendy); two grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Father Linus Coady conducted funeral mass at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Botwood on Sunday, March 6, 2005. Interment will be at the Greens Harbour Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers were his great nephew, Stephen Rowe; nephews, Gerald Rowe, Hedley Rowe,  Eric Rowe; friends, John Sharron and Alex Pelley

Joseph Ralph Rowe  July 1, 2004
Passed away July 1, 2004 at the Central West Health Corporation in Grand Falls-Windsor, Joseph Ralph Rowe. He was 59 years of age. Mr. Rowe retired from Abitibi Consolidated in 2004 and was a member of the Local C.E.P. Union. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Violet Rowe; sister, Elsie Rowe; brothers, Harry Rowe and Willis Patey. Left to mourn are his wife Sandra, son, Joseph and daughter, Kayla; brothers and sisters, Leonard (late Marie Patey), Joan (Dave Wicks), Bessie (Dave Dobbin), Loretta (Kirk Haggart), Florence (late Sandy Kuxhouse), Kevin (Denise) Rowe, June (Mack Brown), Barbara (John) Theriault, Harry (Claudette) Rowe, Jean (Stan Boyd), Greg (Angela Rowe); many nieces and nephews; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Crooks conducted funeral services from the Memorial United Church in Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, July 3, 2004. Interment was from the Memorial United Church Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor. Funeral arrangements by to Hoskins Funeral Homes, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers were Harry Rowe, Kevin Rowe, Greg Rowe, Len Patey, Mac Brown, Johnny Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers were Steven King and Boyd Cole.
