2009 ** Special achievement awards were given to England's Ben Gollings, Canada coach Shane Thompson, South Africa coach Paul Treu, France coach Thierry Janeczek and New Zealand coach Gordon Tietjens in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the World Series since its inception in 1999 by the IRB.

2006 ** Shane Thompson is off to New Zealand and the L.A. Seven's in his capacity as National Seven's Assistant Coach. This, after an earlier tour to Dubai and South Africa late in 2005.

2006 ** Shane Thompson is now in the Guinness World Records 2006 as the Most Individual IRB Seven's Tournament Appearances.

2004 ** Dan Furlong, National Senior Men's Team Future Prospects Chart - flanker. Number Eight & Captain - Quebec Caribou - Rugby Canada Super League (2005).

2004 ** Alex Pascu, has been added to the Canada U21 long list

2003 ** Scott Laekas was one of 26 players from across Canada selected to attend the Center For Rugby Excellence at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario for an intensive four-month program under the direction of head coach Ric Suggitt. National Senior Men's Team Future Prospects Chart - fullback (2005).

Shane, Marc ** In George, South Africa, this past weekend - December 11th and 12th, (2005) Shane became, since the inception of the IRB Sevens Series five years ago, the world's most capped Sevens player. Shane received his 50th cap for Canada, an astonishing record by an elite athlete in any sport. Shane was first capped in the Dubai Sevens in 1997.
** For a seventh consecutive year Shane will be one of the National Senior Men's Team squad members who are resident in Canada and not under professional contract to benefit from Sport Canada's Athlete's Assistance Program. As a member of the program for two years or more Shane will receive one of the sixteen Senior Athlete cards awarded for the year 2004 - 2005.
** Selected to play with the world famous all-star sevens squad, the Penguin Rugby Club, on numerous occasions.
** Played outside center for Canada against the USA in the 2004 Churchill Cup
** Recently returned from another stint with the Penguins in Malaysia.
** Center - Quebec Caribou - Rugby Canada Super League - 2004.
