Under construction? Heck, I've hardly poured the foundations yet. For now, think of it as a little cluster of lean-tos, providing some shelter in the wilderness for stuff that'll be important later.

At this point there isn't a lot of highly-personal stuff on my site. I'll just mention that I'm the treasurer of the Ottawa Science Fiction Society and am moderately active in the local branch of the Society For Creative Anachronism, a medieval-recreation organization. (I do cooking, singing, dance, and heraldry.) I'm tremendously pleased that a publishing project that I helped with has finally come to fruition: NESFA Press has just released From These Ashes: The Complete Short Science Fiction of Fredric Brown.

I do have a personals ad running, if you really do want more more of a personal look at me. I'd like to find a partner -- female, non-smoker, in her 30s (plus or minus), monogamously-oriented, Ottawa area. Vegetarian and/or short would be pluses. :-)

I used to use Cyberus as my ISP. Now I don't. Here's why.

Congratulations to the populace of the new S.C.A. Kingdom of Ealdormere! Here's the processional song, "Glorious and Triumphant Ealdormere", written by Baroness TSivia bas Tamara v'Amberview, O.L., and Master Naon na Chruitre, O.L., as performed by the Caldrithig Choir at the First Ealdormere Coronation on October 24th, 1998. Sheet music scored for four parts.

Write to me! Address: but leave out the "XYZZY" it's a little magic to defeat the spambots.
