THE AIM AND SCOPE: The recent years have witnessed the spreading of TRIZ around the globe. It was created by the generations of enthusiasts rallying around G.S. Altshuller since the 1950s to 1980s and aiming at laying down the foundation of a new science. However, in the 1980s the enthusiasts and the real TRIZ scientists were pushed away by the people rushing to reap the commercial profit from as yet not mature discipline. Not surprisingly, therefore, that to the English speaking world TRIZ came as a commercial enterprise (not very successful, however). The public research has died. Instead, the commercial magazines emerged run by strangers to TRIZ and not by seasoned TRIZ researchers, notably the so called TRIZ Journal (www.triz-journal.com).

The purpose of our journal is to exorcise this phenomenon. That is why, it is not Anti-TRIZ journal but rather Anti Triz-journal. All real TRIZniks are invited to contribute. (Read the policies of the journal first, however.)

Another goal is the proper TRIZ education. In this respect, most articles published in the TRIZ-journal are an indispensable source of various TRIZ errors and mistakes. By criticizing the articles and showcasing the underlying errors, we are going to educate the public in the real TRIZ.

PRODUCTS
  • Thoughts Guiding Systems Corp. is proud to offer its flagship product "Root Cause Finder". Unlike other RCA (root cause analysis) software available on the market, this product is based on heuristical search algorithms and is capable of finding not obvious causes, hidden causes, etc. which renders it indispensable for any innovator.
  • The geography of our sales ranges from France (40% of the market), to Italy (20% of the market), to the US (10% of the market), to Belgium (10% of the market), to Netherlands (10% of the market), to Singapore (10% of the market).
  • Read what our customers say about the RCF in the January 2005 and the March 2005 issues of the journal.
  • Currently versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 are available. Their introductory prices (per one license) are $100, $150, and $200 respectively. Just compare it to about $1500 per license for RCA software from other companies which have no heuristical search algorithms at all! To order, drop us a line.
