Response to the Y. Karasik's article "The TRIZ Sins of Darrell Mann"
published in Anti TRIZ-journal (Vol. 1, No. 1)

Hello there,

many thanks for your note. I enjoyed reading your journal very much. Very amusing in places.

Unfortunately, however, with regard to the response to my Contradictions article, you appear to have jumped to some conclusions that I can only describe as 'inaccurate'. I imagine the reason for this is that your primary objective was to 'be witty' rather than actually research and include a few facts yourself. There is nothing wrong with being witty of course (TRIZ needs a lot more of it I think), but in my experience people possessing real wit do their homework first.

I'm probably not qualified to write material for your august publication, but I think if you are interested in presenting a fair representation of matters you will allow me to publish a response alongside your article. I think I'd like to call it 'The TRIZ Sins of Darrell Mann II - Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Go Back In The Water'

Many thanks in any event for taking the time to write. I look forward to reading future issues in due course.

Best wishes

Darrell (with two 'r's)

Comments by Y. Karasik: despite my appeals, so far I have received no article promised by Darrell Mann. Probably, he gave a second thought as to whether or not it is "Safe To Go Back In The Water".
