Ken Vickerson Design was established in 1985, since
then I have produced hundreds of commissioned works in metal. My goal
has been to address practical and aesthetic issues as well as produce
designs that will have meaning for my clients. Commonly my clients
have seen my work in an exhibition, as I have exhibited widely, or
in the collections of friends or colleagues. Often the occasion is
a wedding or engagement for which rings are required. I offer unique
designs meant to reflect the personality of the wearer, things not
readily available "off the rack". As well as rings and jewellery I also
produce metal vessels and do small scale blacksmithing. I am also occupied
as an associate professor at the Ontario College of Art and Design
in Toronto, where I teach courses in jewellery and metalsmithing.
