Bill's Bio:
Bill has been involved in the telecommunication industry for the last
15 years working on cellular radio basestation receivers. He
specializes in mixed signal (analog/digital) processing and applies his
knowledge to modem and RF integration and performance testing. He
has been involved in Amateur Radio since he was 15 and enjoys building
his own equipment, e.g. QRP transceivers, W7ZOI's spectrum analyzer.
Recently he has been biten by the vintage restoration bug and has
acquired a life time supply of vintage radios to work on. He
likes to collect "boatanchors" which were state of the art in their
time:

- Collins R-388, 51J, 51J-3 / R-388, and 51J-4
- Hallicrafters SX-28(A) and SX-42
- Hammarlund SP600
Bill also enjoys rock climbing, canoeing and backpacking.
