They should arrange themselves in a triangle in the rear of the hall, |
| e far tutti insieme una riverenza e la volta e unalta [sic] |
and they all do together a riverenza and the volta and another |
| riverenza[.] dipoi muovinsi tutti atre e faccino dua scempi |
riverenza; then all three move, and they do two sempi |
| et 4 passetti e la donna passi per il mezzo di loro facendo il |
and 4 passetti, and the lady goes through their midst, doing the |
| medesimo[.] dipoi gli huomini si voltono luno alaltro e fanno |
same. Then the men turn to one another and do |

two sempi, and give hands to each other, and do 4 passetti and thus change |

Then she turns to him who is on her right hand [side], and they do |

a riverenza. Then she turns to the other, and they do another [of them], |
| ma la donna debbe far questa col pie ritto e lhuomo gli debbe |
but the lady must do this with the right foot, and the man |
| rispondere col mancho. Dipoi quei da lato fanno la volta |
must respond to her with the left. Then those [men] on the sides do the volta |

di Lasso, and in this tempo, with five passettini, the lady |

and they turn and then the lady leaves and does two scempi and |

4 passetti, and turns, and those [men] on the sides then do two scempi |

and the volta. Then the lady turns to him who is on her |

right hand [side], and they do a riverenza. Then she turns to the other |

[man] and they do another [riverenza], but the lady [does it] with the right foot, and those |
