WAL KEN WONKA NIMROD picture taken at 22 years old

June 4, 1981 - Nov. 5, 2007     Nimrod will be forever in our hearts, and missed every day.

Nimrod left us a little surprise!  Last January with a gate opened he and the others had a fun filled night of passion and the results are in -
born Dec. 3, 2007 a beautiful little filly (Nimrod x Ali)

These horses have been referred to as "Canada's little iron horse" and are truly an all purpose horse. From a personal perspective our stallion has plowed fields, hauled logs, placed in dressage competitions and driving classes and then returned home to become just a riding horse. Every day he has his regular visits from the neighborhood kids and awaits the school bus, knowing that kids and treats will soon follow.

Known for the excellent temperament and heart, they can, and often do excel at whatever you ask of them.

HORSES  FOR   SALE - all are for sale, call or email to visit to see them.  They are all registered, 100% pure and we are open to all reasonable offers.

Following are some links to a few pictures

Here are some pictures taken by the Wellingtons (George and Judy) of Carleton Place.  The are of some of the older Canadians they had at their place.  They bred and showed Canadians for quite a few years, also using them in their riding school and are also the reason I first even heard of the Canadian horse when I went for some well needed lessons.  They also helped me find my first Canadian 'Nimrod'.
