Smokey Rose consists of the duo of Darlene Thibault and Lee Hodgkinson who perform traditional & contemporary Country Music at public and private venues throughout the Ottawa Valley.
Originally introduced at an open stage many years ago, Smokey Rose has been fine tuning their performances and demonstrating their musical skills ever since.
Over the years, the band has included other singers and musicians but to date they continue to offer their unique sound with just its original two members.
With close to 200 songs in their repertoire, they consistently deliver music that is customized to each audience. Their enthusiasm to regard each performance as a unique opportunity, motivates them to continuously work on and add new material to every event's playlist.
In June of 2006, the duo released their debut CD full of country classics. Local radio stations CJHR Heritage Radio 98.7 and CHIP 101.7 FM have been airing selections from the CD on a regular basis.
Smokey Rose continues to support many non-profit and charitable organizations by performing at their various fundraising events.
