Creating a Dialogue with the Soul

Individual counselling sessions guide clients in creating a dialogue with their soul. The Work of Dialoguing with the Soul is about gaining a new perspective on ourselves, and accepting the physical incarnation that our soul has chosen to express itself through.

There is no fixing and no one magic formula, rather we use observation, exploration and inquiry to get to the root of our story and acknowledge our own physical, intellectual and emotional experiences. As we Dialogue with our Soul, we stimulate the process of Self-Discovery, Self-Knowledge, Self-Responsibility and Self-Acceptance, and awaken to the ultimate truth of our humanity by living in the flow of the one human consciousness.

Tools for Dialogue with the Soul

Energetic Healing Techniques allow the client to make contact with their energetic body and to formulate connections between their body, mind and emotions in order to understand the wholistic nature and flow of their own energy. Through these techniques, clients gain a new perspective on themselves, and may find freedom from their self-imposed limitations/blocks.

Experiential Exercises allow us to gain insight about our story through tangible mediums, and give us the tools by which we can live our lives with awareness on a daily basis.

Flower Essences "Are subtle liquid extracts, generally taken in oral form, which are used to address profound issues of emotional well-being, soul development, and mind-body health"    (Flower Essence Repertory, Kaminsky & Katz, 1996)
In addition, Flower Essences are used to increase one’s awareness of the energetic movement that occurs throughout ones body, so that balance and health may be restored.

Focusing & Visualization are gentle, yet powerful transformative processes that can be used to bring clarity to life issues. As body-oriented processes, they invite you to listen with respect and compassion to what is felt concretely in your body in connection to your life experiences. In this type of work, the client is in charge of their own experience.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a "Laying-on of hands" Wholistic technique that directs natural healing energy and is available to anyone who is ready to receive the gift of healing hands. Reiki is thousands of years old, thought to have originated as a Tibetan Buddhist practice and brought to the Western world from Japanese masters.

Reiki is the vital life force energy that flows through all living things and is channelled through the hands of a practitioner into the body of a receiver adjusting itself according to the needs of the recipient. Reiki is said to support the body's natural ability to heal itself, loosen blocked energy, balance the body's energies, and promote a state of total relaxation.

Spiritual Psychotherapy is a gateway into the self and is a forum to guide individuals as they blossom into the complete fullness of their expression and experience their wholeness. It allows individuals to explore their inner mythology and facilitates consciousness on the journey of self-discovery as one faces ones distorted perceptions and encounters their soul.

Spiritual Psychotherapy helps an individual open up to a broader vision of life so that they may move beyond judgement towards the acceptance of the self and others.

Tarot is a system of divination and a visual map of consciousness that operates primarily through the symbolic, non-rational aspects of consciousness.

The Tarot is a map of the inner journey, drawn in symbols to help provide insight and perspective about new situations, which can lead to breakthroughs, increased clarity, and deeper perception and understanding.

Therapeutic Art recognizes art processes, forms, content, and associations as gateways to understanding our story and the ego movements that play out in our daily lives. Using art as a therapeutic tool encourages exploration and investigation of the body/mind/emotional conflicts within ourselves, and promotes self-awareness and greater consciousness. Therapeutic Art is concerned more with the process and the experience of manifesting the creative force within, rather than with the making of a "beautiful" product.

Therapeutic Art gives us an objective perspective on ourselves and invites us to discover our full potential as human beings. us to blossom by using this new found energy in a loving way in the outer world.

Therapeutic Touch operates with the vital-energy field, which surrounds every living object. With Therapeutic Touch, the practitioner works on re-patterning, rebalancing and/or knitting together the client's vital-energy field by modulating or directing it rhythmically, symmetrically and with intentionality, so that it can once again function as an integrated whole.

The focus of Therapeutic Touch is on re-establishing and supporting a balanced flow of human energies that move in constant, controlled and unimpeded motion in a healthy person. This technique is of particular interest to those individuals with chronic or acute pain from injury or illness.

Guiding Principle

Within the context of wholistic counselling and facilitating workshops, my guiding principle is to assist the client/student through a process of dialoguing with the soul, so that they may observe the energy of humanity that moves through them, and live in the Stillness of Infinite Possibility.

This dialogue with the soul is a process of observation and inquiry, and implies self-responsibility and acceptance of one’s particular Body-Mind manifestation (core delusion).

As an individual gains an understanding of their core delusion, they begin to see their own body/mind/emotion connection, and become aware of their identifications, expectations, attachments, actions, and reactions.

With this awareness, the client/student begins to expand their perception beyond the particular concept of self that they have had thus far, and can experience themselves as a complete living organic system, that is continuously creating and being created.

From this larger perspective, there is no "I" to defend, fix, own, nor identify with. There is simply the presence of infinity possibility, pure perception, stillness, insight, and joy.

Our "load" in life is now lightened and we flow with the movement of the whole and experience the perfection of every moment.

Client Guidelines

  • I speak in the "I" rather than the "You" and I take care of my needs without projections.
  • I do not fix others, I trust that others will fulfill their own needs.
  • I stay in the here and now, and am present to myself.
  • I avoid interpretation and judgement, rather, I stay in observation using investigative inquiry.
  • I am in awareness as I witness myself with every situation, feeling, thought, action & reaction. I own my projections & triggers.
  • I acknowledge that my story is in everything, and that I am continuously provided with opportunities to learn something about myself.
  • I am responsible for my own life—my behaviour, my thoughts, my feelings, my actions, my reactions.
  • I engage in self-care after a therapeutic session in order to integrate my learning and bring my new awareness’ to consciousness.
The Client Process...

We stay as close to our story as possible;
We see it, feel it, experience it;
We get to the root & see through it;
We release it & sit in the freedom from it;
We see from a wholistic perspective;
We stay as close to our story as possible
...

By living life consciously, we face our Human Challenge of seeing through our story/concept of self, thus leading us beyond the personal to the transpersonal and the experience of oneness.

When we do this, we can experience life wholistically and use thought to serve nature, allowing for freedom of mind and movement.
