THE LORD MY GOD SHALL COME--WHEN

In this document, I will show you the Lord my God shall come--when - immediately after the tribulation, and we will see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven, and he will send his angels with the great sound of a trumpet to gather his elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other.

All text taken from the version of the King James Bible

I will begin with -

Zech.14:3-9 - Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations; as when he fought in the day of battle. (4) And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; (see - Joel 3:12) and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. (5) And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the (or, my) mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake (see - Amos 1:1) in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee. (see - Joel 3:11) (6) And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the light shall not be clear, [nor] dark: (that is, it shall not be clear in some places, and dark in other places in the world) (7) But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, [that] at evening time it shall be light. (8) And it shall be in that day [that] living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; (see - Ezek.47:1) half of them toward the former (or, eastern) sea, and half of them toward the hinder see: in summer and winter it shall be. (9) And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: (see - Ps.2:6-8) in that day shall there be one LORD, (see - Eph.4:5-6) and his name one. - See - Fountains of Living Waters vs. Cisterns

and the LORD my God shall come - Zech.14:5

Matt.24:29-31 - Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: (30) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (31) And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (see - I Cor.15:52; I Thes.4:16) - Also see - Parable of the Tares of the Field; Four Winds (Spirits) of Revelation; Baptize, Salvation, Faith, Dead and Death

it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, - Zech.14:7

Matt.24:36 - But of that day and hour knoweth no [man,] no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Now go back and read Zech.14:7 again -

at evening time, it shall be light - Zech.14:7

Rev.21:23-24 - And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: (see - Is.24:23; Heb.12:22; Rev.19:6) for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof (24) And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. - See - Judgment of the Nations

And when shall the Lord my God come?

Immediately after the tribulation of those days - Matt.24:29

Dan.7:11 - I (Daniel) beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld [even] till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. (see - Rev.19:20) - Also see - Furnace of Fire/Lake of Fire and Brimstone; Judgment, The First Resurrection and the Second Death

then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven - Matt.24:30

Dan.7:13 - I (Daniel) saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, (see - Ezek.1:26; Matt.24:30; Matt.26:64; Rev.1:7; Rev.14:14)

they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven - Matt.24:30

Rev. 1:7-8 - Behold, he (Jesus, the Son of man) cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: (see - Zech.12:10; John 19:37) and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. (8) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. - See - Is.41:4

The word "tribulation" appears in the Old Testament as well as the New, let us take a look at the Strong's defintion for this word/phrase - there are several numbers.

tribulation #6862 - O.T. - "when thou art in tribulation" - found only in Deut.4:30 - AV - enemy, adversary, trouble, distress, affliction, foe, narrow, strait, flint, sorrow, - from #6887 - a primitive root - AV - enemy, distress, bind up, vex, afflict, beseige, adversary, strait, trouble, bound, pangs

tribulation #6869 - O.T. - "of your tribulation" - Judges 10:14, and "me out of all tribulation" I Sam.26:24 - AV - trouble, distress, affliction, adversity, anguish, tribulation, adverary - from #6862 - see above

tribulation #2347 - N.T. (and/or phrase) - found 45 times - AV - tribulation, affliction, trouble, anguish, persecution, burdened, to be afflicted + 1519; - from #2346

#2346 - AV - trouble, afflict, narrow, throng, suffer tribulation; - a kin to the base of #5147 - AV - path; - from tribo (to "rub," akin to teiro, truo, and the base of #5131 and #5134

We have been in tribulation ever since Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of good and evil, Gen.3:6, and when God found out what they had done then he told the serpent (the devil) that he would put enmity (hatred, or, to be hostile to) between the serpent and the woman, Gen.3:15, and God said unto the woman that he would "greatly multiply thy sorrow", Gen.3:16

enmity #342 - O.T. - AV - enmity, hatred; from #340

#340 - a primative root - AV - enemy

thy sorrow #6093 - O.T. - AV - sorrow, toil; from #6087

#6087 - a primitive root - AV - grieve, displeased, hurt, made, sorry, vexed, worship, wrest

Now go back and check the definition for the word "tribulation" #6862 above - you can see that this word incorporates the meanings of "enemy" and "sorrow". So that you can see that the world has been in tribulation since Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree of good and evil.

The phrase "great tribulation," is only found 3 times in the Bible, Matt.24:21; Rev.24:22 and Rev.7:14.

Notice what it says in -

Rev.6:12 & 17 - And I (John) beheld when he (the Lamb) had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (12) For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand.

You can read the verses in between for yourself, but notice this occurs after the 6th seal has been opened.

Now let us take a look at -

Matt.24:29 - Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, ....

While Rev.6:12 and Matt.24:29, do not have the exact same wording, the meaning is the same.

So when shall the Lord my God come? -- immediately, after the tribulation or after the 6th seal has been opened, and all go through the tribulation. Then in Revelation, chapter 7, the four angels stand on the four corners of the earth and hold the four winds of the earth and they are told not to hurt the earth until the servants have been sealed -- 144,000 of all the tribes of Israel. Then there are also a great multitude which come out of the "great tribulation" and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. - (See - Rev.1:5) - Also see - Four Winds (Spirits) of Revelation; Sign, Mark and Seal of God

This takes place before the 7th seal has been opened, which is chapter 8.

Rev.11:15 - When the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, Is.27:13, Matt.24:31) saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

John said in -

Rev.1:9 - I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, .... - See - Heir and Joint-Heir With Christ

We are in tribulation now and have been since Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the forbidden tree - the tree of good and evil.

In the parable of the sower, we are told that some of us will receive the word (of God) with joy, yet we have no root, or staying ability because when tribulation or persecution comes or ariseth because of the word, then after awhile we become offended and leave or go a different way. - See - Parable of the Kingdom and the Sower

Some of you may stub your toe, hit your finger or you may not get what you thought you should have or deserved - and swear - well you just made Satan, or the devil, very happy. There is nothing wrong with being unhappy about an incident for a short time, but do not dwell on it -- find a way to deal with the pain or problem without swearing or hurting another person.

Remember to follow the ten commandments, or at least the two great commandments, also the Golden Rule, and don't make Satan happy. - See Ten Commandments; Two Great Commandments
