This Lord's words explained bible study document will be Crowns. The following scriptures will show that crowns are only given to those who are either righteous or lawful.

All text taken from the version of the King James Bible

II Tim. 4:8 - Henceforth there is laid up for me A crown of righteous, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Rev. 2:10 - Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I (Jesus) will give thee a crown of life.

James 1:12 - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

I Peter 5:14 - And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, Ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Heb.13:20 - Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, (or testament)

Rev.3:11 - Behold, I (Jesus) come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Ps.8:5 - For thou hast made him (Jesus) a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

During the of time Jesus was on earth, he was made a little lower than the angels.

II Tim.2:5 - And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

I think from the above scriptures, it clearly shows that, crowns or being crowned, are given only to those who are either righteous or lawful.

Let's look at a couple of scriptures in Revelation referring to crown(s).

Rev.6:2 - And I (John) saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer.

Rev.14:14 - And I (John) looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

This is clearly not the devil, Satan (or the antichrist), as many people have been taught. Because God would NEVER give the devil, Satan, or the wicked one, a crown. As I stated above, crowns are only given to those who are righteous or lawful.

Crowns, but not given -

It does not state that the crown was given to the great red dragon

Rev.12:3 - ...and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

How it got these crowns, I do not know, but we do know that it is not from being righteous, and it DOES NOT state, that God gave these crowns.
