THE FOUNDATIONS OF HEAVEN AND EARTH

This Lord's words explained bible study document will discuss The Foundations of Heaven and Earth. I will show you the physical heaven, as well as the spiritual heaven.

All text taken from the version of the King James Bible

Let us begin this Bible study with a prayer, O God, thy heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom and knowledge, so that I may be able to understand this document, in Jesus name. Amen.

Gen.1:1-2 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

the beginning - Gen.1:1

John1:1 & 3 - In the beginning was the Word, (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (3) All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

Heb.1:10 - And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

God created the heaven and the earth - Gen.1:1

In this next verse, the Lord is speaking with Job.

Job 38:4 - Where was thou when I (the Lord) laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

Please read all of this chapter for yourself, as the Lord is showing Job his great ignorance -- and probably ours as well. The following 2 chapters of Job are also important, if you would like to read them, they show God's power in creation. Sometimes we forget that the Lord God is responsible for creating everything --every little detail.

Let me give you one more quote from this chapter, the Lord is again speaking to Job.

Job 38:33 - Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

the ordinances of heaven? - Job 38:33

Jer.31:35-37 - Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, [and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts [is] his name: (36) If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, [then] the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. (37) Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

those ordinances depart from before me - Jer.31:36

Ps.148:1-6 - Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. (2) Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. (3) Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that [be] above the heavens. (5) Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. (6) He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree with shall not pass.

ye heavens of heavens - Ps.148:4

I Kings 8:27 - But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee - I Kings 8:27

II Cor.12:2 - I (Paul) knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

caught up to the third heaven - II Cor.12:2

Acts 22:17 - And it came to pass, that, when I (Saul/Paul) was come again into Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance; - See - Temples of God--Churches

Okay, what I need for you to see and understand here, is that yes God created the heavens and the earth -- the foundation of the earth and the sun, the moon and the stars - the heavens, but God also created and speaks of the "heaven of heavens," that it cannot contain you - this is the spirit, which is in your mind. You will not be able to understand the document Where Are Heaven and Hell, if you cannot grasp the above concept.

There is a physical aspect and there is a spiritual aspect, and when you are reading the Bible, you have to be able to see both of these, both are important to see and understand, but the one that is the most important to God, is the spiritual aspect, because God is a spirit. - See - Temples of God--Churches

Let me continue with -

hath also stablished them for ever and ever: - Ps.148:6

Jer.33:25-26 - Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant [be] not with day and night, [and if] I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; (26) Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take [any] of his seed [to be] rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.

I have already explained what captivity means in one of my other documents - Parable of the Tares of the Field, but just briefly, it means, the going into bondage or prison - in other words, not following the Lord and the commandments of God, but doing your own thing - See - Fountain of Living Waters vs. Cisterns.

appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth - Jer.33:25

Ps.74:16 - The day [is] thine, the night also [is] thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

Ps.104:19 - He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

Now let us review -

Jer.31:35 - Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, [and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts [is] his name:

the sea when the waves thereof roar -

Is.51:15 - But I [am] the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts [is] his name.

sea - Is.51:15

Job 26:12 - He (God) divideth the sea with is power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. (Heb., pride)

Yes, God did part the sea for Moses and his people to escape Phaoroh and his soldiers, but, this is not what this is talking about here. Read the above verse again, a sea cannot be proud, so it is not referring to the sea as "water," that one splashes around in, swim, or float your boat, it is not H20, but it refers to people. God divided the good from the bad, and by his understanding, he (God) will smite through the proud. Let us take a look at the next verse.

Ps. 74:13 - Thou didst divide (or, break) the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

Now in one aspect, God may be referring to "dragons in the waters," as whales, but we know that "dragon" is also another name for Satan, the devil. "The waters," in this case, are the words which are spoken by the enemy, and his followers. "Waters" can mean words, or thoughts spoken of "good spirits," or "bad spirits."- See - Tares; Fountain of Living Waters vs. Cisterns; Parable of the Sower; Parable of the Kingdom and The Sower

"Seas," can not only mean the Red Sea or the Mediteranean Sea, but also, the Bible refers to seas as people or spirits - so that you have a sea of good people or good spirits, and you have a sea of bad people or bad spirits. If you are referring to the sea in the physical sense, or H20, then you would use the Red or the Mediteranean Sea, if you are referring to the seas in the spiritual sense, then you use which ever one applies, but make sure you keep them straight, and sometimes both may apply in the same scripture.

Is. 57:20-21 - But the wicked [are] like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. (21) [There is] no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. - See - The Purpose of the Law

Now let me continue with God created the heavens and the earth from Gen.1:1

Is.44:24 - Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I [am] the LORD that maketh all [things;] that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth myself;

Col.1:16-19 - For by him (the Lord Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (17) And he (Jesus) is before all things, and by him all things consist. (18) And he (Jesus) is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have preeminence (19) For it pleased [the] Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

by him (the Word/Jesus) were all things created - Col.1:16

See John 1:1 and 3 above again, also -

I Peter 3:22 - Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him, (Jesus).

Again, let me continue with God created the heaven and the earth - Gen.1:1

Heb.11:3 - Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Rev.4:11 - Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things for thy pleasure they are and were created.

without form - Gen.1:2

Jer.4:23 - I (Jeremiah) beheld the earth, and, lo, [it was] without form, and void; and the heavens, and they [had] no light.

REMEMBER: Jesus is the light of the world. John 8:12

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters - Gen.1:2

Is.40:13-14 - Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or [being] his counsellor hath taught him? (14) With whom took he counsel, and [who] instructed him, (Heb., made him understand) and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

The Spirit of God directed, taught and instructed, the Spirit of the Lord Jesus, (the Word) in all things and showed to him the way of understanding.

Rom.1:20-25 - For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are (or, that they may be) without excuse: (21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart (or, mind) darkened. (22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (23) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. (24) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, (or, minds) to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: (25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature (ourselves) more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen - See - The Purpose of the Law; Temples of God--Churches; Mark of the Beast--666

the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen - Rom.1:20

Ps.19:1 - The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork.

Now I have given you both the physical explanation of the foundation of heaven and earth - the sun, moon and stars, but I have also given you the spiritual explanation of heaven as well, and you must be able to understand both of these in order to understand where heaven and hell are, in the spirit realm. The document Where Are Heaven and Hell will be re-written and typed soon.

This document is meant to help you understand your Bible more easily, however, it may not give you all the answers, you will need to study your Bible as well as read other documents, but let no one deceive you, prove all things; hold fast that which is good, because, ultimately, you, are responsible for your own salvation.
