THE FIRST AND SEVENTH COMMANDMENTS

In this Lord's Word Explained Bible study, The First and Seventh Commandments, I will show you we are "gods," however, we are not "Gods," and I will show you the difference, what it means and why it is so important to understand, because many of us are breaking the first commandment without even realizing it - all because of the serpent's deception or lie to the woman, (Eve).

You will need to read and understand Heir and Joint-Heir with Christ; Born Again (or, From Above); Temples of God--Churches; The True Vine, also, Pray and Prayer, The Spirit Within and God's Discipline, ...Marrying and Giving in Marriage...., as well as any others mentioned thoroughout this document.

All text taken from the version of the King James Bible

Let us begin this Bible study with a prayer, O God, thy heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom and knowledge, so that I may be able to understand this document, in Jesus name. Amen.

The following verses in Is.53:2-10, will be a quick overview of God's suffering servant, Jesus.

Is.53:2-10 - For he (Jesus) shall grow up before him (God) as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him. - See - Root or Stem of Jesse - A Righteous Branch/Holy OneSaviour-Jesus Christ, (3) He (Jesus) is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (4) Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried out sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. (5) But he [was] wounded (or, tormented) for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes (or, bruises) we are healed. (6) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. See - Fountains of Living Waters vs. Cisterns, also, Baptize, Salvation, Faith, Dead and Death, (7) He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers [is] dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. (8) He (Jesus) was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my (God's) people he was stricken. (9) And he (Jesus) made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth. (10) Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou (the LORD) shalt make his (Jesus) soul an offering for sin, he (the LORD God) shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

...and when we shall see him, (Jesus), [there is] no beauty that we should desire him, let me repeat that last part - that "WE should desire him." Please remember this it will be important for later.

And, ...when thou (the LORD) shalt make his (Jesus) soul an offering for sin, he (the LORD God) shall see [his] seed - those that can see, hear and understand the words of the God. - See - Parable of the Sower- Mark and Luke. Remember: The seed is the word of God. - Luke 8:11

an offering for sin- Is.53:10

II Cor.5:21 - For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Read the above verse again, who knew no sin? - Jesus Christ - he knew no sin.

Also see explanation of "sweet Savour" in Baptize, Salvation, Faith, Dead and Death

The pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand - Is.53:10

Eph.1:5 - Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Having predestinated us unto the -

adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, - Eph.1:5

Before I give you the next scripture, let me explain, Jesus came to bring the message to the Jews first, but they did not like the message that he brought to them. Now let us look at -

John 1:11-12 - He (Jesus) came unto his own, and his own received him not. (12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

John 3:5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man (person) be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. - See - Born Again (or, From Above)

Read John 1:12 above again, - But as many as received him, (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

You, can become the son of God if, you believe on his name - Jesus, repent, and you live a righteous life - that is follow the commandments of God - all of them, and overcome the qualities and characteristics of the "works of the flesh," and strive to attain the "fruits of the Spirit," - see - The True Vine. You can also pray to God and ask for the peace of Jerusalem, asking that the works of the flesh enter your mind no more, and ask that God help you attain the "fruits of the Spirit," but you still have to work at this all the time to keep the works of the flesh out - see - Pray and Prayer, do not be lukewarm about this, and do not stand before the Lord naked, because the Lord will spue you out of his mouth. - Rev.3:16-17

I have explained the word "naked" in Judgment of the Nations

Let us take a look at this next scripture to see the devil (Satan and his evil spirits) is/are constantly seeking to devour your soul.

I Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Basically, Satan/the serpent/the devil/evil spirit, has declared war in the minds of each individual, and it is up to you to cast him out. We all have the power to do this, to cast Satan and his evil spirits out. Are you up to the challenge of defeating Satan from your mind? to conquer, to overcome and gain the victory over Satan and his evil spirits? You will need to keep your mind focused on the Lord and the fruits of the Spirit and to quietly (that is, within your own mind,) but firmly, cast the works of the flesh out of your mind whenever they enter.

In John 10 after Jesus has told the people the story of the Good Shephard, there was a division among the Jews for what he had said, and some of them wanted to stone Jesus because they felt that he, (Jesus) had blasphemed the name of God because he had called himself the Son of God.

Paul tells us that we are begotten through the gospel, that is, we must understand and believe what is written in the scripture, let us take a look at -

I Cor. 4:15 - For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet [have ye] not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I (Paul) have begotten you through the gospel.

Let us not forget, that Jesus was the only begotten Son of God, we will only be adopted sons. And there is nothing wrong with being adopted, I am willing to be an adopted son of God. Are you willing to be an adopted son of God? We are all born with the capability to be a son of God, but for a "spirit" to be fully inacted to become a son of God, we must live as righteously as possible - that is, follow the commandments of God, all of them, all of the time, and believe that Jesus is the Son of God/Son of man. You have to inact your spirit with the Spirt of God - to be one with God, just as Jesus is one with God the Father - John 17:22, to have that "perfect will of God." - Rom.12:12

Let us take a moment to see what it says in the next two scriptures -

John 10:34 - Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

Ps. 82:6 - I (GOD) have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High.

In John 10:34 and Ps.82:6, notice that the word god is printed with a small "g," not with a capital, and it is not written with an apostrophe "s," which would mean that we belong to God, and we do belong to God, because God created or made everything, and we are his children, but there is no apostrophe in this phrase and this is not what this scripture is referring to. It is saying that - "ye (we) are gods." We all have the "spirit of God" within us, it is up to us not to let it become corrupt with the lies of the serpent/Satan/the devil, it is up us to work at keeping it spotless (the spirit that we have been given of God), to cast the works of the flesh out and to strive to do the fruits of the Spirit. It is all up to you in how you want to conduct your life, the way you live. You are here on earth to follow the example of Jesus Christ - spiritually.

This is important for you to understand, in order for you, or us, to reign with Jesus Christ when he returns to rule and reign for a thousand years, you must live a righteous life just as Jesus lived a righteous life. Jesus came and showed us by example that it is possible to live a righteous life - to attain the qualities and characteristics of the "fruits of the Spirit," and follow the ten commandments - all of them.

But, do not go getting yourself all puffed up and thinking how important you are, that is what happened to the serpent/the devil/Satan - Lucifer. He thought or, thinks, himself so beautiful and has puffed himself up to be important in his own mind and has deceived most of the people into following him and the works of the flesh, - see - The True Vine, for a list of "the works of the flesh." After all, Satan/Lucifer, thinks he is going to be like the most high and defeat God and sit on God's throne - see and read Isaiah chapter 14 for yourself. If you do not believe that we are "gods," then let us take a look at this next scripture in -

II Peter 2:9 - The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.

Did you notice what it said? The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, "godly" spelled with a small "g." The only way you can be "godly," is if you are following the ways or the example Jesus came and showed us - to follow his steps - II Peter 2:21. It is a disciplined way of living, but it is the only way that we will be able to enter the gate, because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. - Matt.7:14 ...many will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. - Luke 13:24

Let us take a look at this next question.

Did the Bible ever indicate that Jesus married a human? No. Why do you suppose Jesus did not marry a human? Let us look at this a little more carefully.

Now, please refer back to the scripture in Is.53:2, that I said would be important for later - ...and when we shall see him, (Jesus), [there is] no beauty that we should desire him. He was not handsome, as we might refer to somebody today

In John 10 the Jews were going to stone Jesus because he said he was "the Son of God" - vs. 36 - Jesus was and is, the Lord God, but he still has GOD the Father, over him. Now the very first commandment states - Thou shalt have no other gods before thee.

Let me repeat that - Thou shalt have no other "gods" before thee (GOD the Father). The word "god" is written with a small "g," now remember I have explained above, that "we are gods," and when you marry, you have placed another person/"god" before GOD the Father. The reason we were put here on earth is to glorify GOD, not to to worship another "god" or, person/human being - your spouse and your children, if you have any, or anything else for that matter. Your job, or your whole duty here on earth is to keep the commandments of God and to worship and glorify God the Father, through Jesus Christ and if Adam and the woman (Eve) had obeyed God's one and only commandment he gave them, not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, to not even touch it, Gen.2:17 and 3:3, then we would not have the problems we have today. The will of God, even our sanctification is that we abstain from fornication - I Thes.4:3

We are to worship no one else but God the Father, through Jesus Christ. We are not to have anything come between us and God. We are not to conform to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing our mind - to have the perfect will of God. - See scripture below.

Acts 26:18 - To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Jesus) - See - Heir and Joint-Heir with Christ

Rom.12:1-2 - I (Paul) beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God [which is] your reasonable service (2) and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

present your bodies - Rom.12:1

I Cor.6:13 - 20 - Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. (14) and God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. (15) Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make [them] the members of an harlot? God forbid. (16) What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. (17) But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. (18) Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (20) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's

More scripture to show that we are to "glorify" God can be found in ...Marrying and Giving in Marriage....

We are to be "one" with the Lord, as the Lord is "one" with God the Father. Let us look at the scripture in -

John 17:11 and 21-23 - And now I (Jesus) am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I (Jesus) come to thee Holy father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. (21) That they all may be one; as thou, Father [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (22) And the glory which thou (God) gavest me I (Jesus) have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: (23) I (Jesus) in them, and thou (God) in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou (God) hast sent me, and hast love them, as thou hast love me.

You will find the definition of the word "harlot," in Temples of God--Churches.

In I Cor.6:18, we are told to "flee fornication," - there are only two words in the beginning of this verse and there is a full stop or, period, and Paul goes on to tell us, ... he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. I have given you the definition for the word "fornication." Let us take a look at the scripture again.

I Cor.6:18-19 - Flee fornication. Every sin that a man (person) doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? - See - Temples of God--Churches. The word "fornication" is very important for you to understand and the definition has been given to you in the above mentioned document. You may also see - Works of the Flesh Word Definitions

Paul tell us that it is good for a man not to touch a woman However, to avoid fornication he tells us what we must do. Let us take a look at the scripture in -

I Cor.7:1-2 & 32-33 - Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: [It is] good for a man not to touch a woman. (2) Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. (32) But I (Paul) would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: (33) But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please [his] wife. - See - Pray and Prayer

You see, when you marry, you put another person, or, another "god," before God the Father, and when you do this, you have broken the first commandment.

It also goes on to explain the difference between an unmarried woman and a married woman, let us take a look at -

I Cor.7:34 - There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: But she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

...But she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. Women when they get married, are more busy trying to please their husband, than you are praising and glorifying God, both in the spirit and in the body. We are to glorify and praise God, not ourselves, and/or, another human being. - See the scripture below regarding glorifying God.

Let us look and see what Paul says about the man in -

I Cor.7:7-9, 32-33, 38 - For I would that all men were even as I (Paul) myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. (8) I (Paul) say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. (9) But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. (32) But I (Paul) would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: (33) But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please [his] wife. (38) So then he that giveth [her] in marriage doeth well; be he that giveth he not in marriage doeth better.

You can read the whole chapter for yourself. Also, see - "...Marrying and Giving in Marriage...."

Let me point out vs.9 in the above scripture more carefully for you - But if they cannot contain (themselves, or, yourself), let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. If you cannot self-govern yourself, refrain or, contain yourself from lusting, fornication or doing the works of the flesh, then it is better to have your own spouse of the opposite sex, to help you with "due benevolence" and keep you on the "strait and narrow." You are not here on earth to follow your own desires or ways - the ways of the serpent/Satan/the devil, you are here on earth to follow the example of Jesus Christ, the Lord's word - the commandments of God. We are not to follow the devil and his ways. - See John 8:44. It is the will of God even our santification that we abstain from fornication - I Thes.4:3

See - "...Marrying and Giving in Marriage...." for the word meanings for "contain" and "benevolence." If the definitions for these words do not appear in the fore-mentioned documentment, then it will be re-loaded soon.

against his own body - I Cor.6:13

Rom.1:24-25 - Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, (or, minds), to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: (25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. - See - Mark of the Beast--666

God gave up on Adam and the woman (Eve) because they frollicked with each other and made themselves unclean through the lusts of their own hearts (or, minds) and dishonoured their own bodies between themselves . Please note - it says they dishonoured their bodies between themselves, not with the serpent/Satan/the devil, BUT, between "themselves."

In the above verse, Rom.1:25, the word "creature," is referring to, man/human beings, and the "Creator" is God. For comfirmation that we are referred to as a "creature," read Mark 16:15; also read how we become a "new creature" in II Cor.5:7 and Gal.6:15.

what [is] that good, and acceptable, - Rom.12:2

Eph.5:10 & 17 - Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord - {See - Phil.1:10} (17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is]

I Thes.4:3 - For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication. - See - Temples of God--Churches for the definition of "fornication"

Phil.1:10-11 - That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; (11) Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. - See - The True Vine, for a list of the fruits of the Spirit

Let me give you some scripture to show you that you are to glorify God.

Ps.86:12 - I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

Rom.15:6 - That ye may with one mind [and] one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I Cor.6:20 - For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Rev.15:4 - Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name for [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

However, if you cannot refrain or, abstain from "fornication," Paul goes on to tell us in this next scripture that marriage is honourable, but it also goes on to qualify that the bed must be undefiled (not made unclean by whoremongers and adulterers) - in other words, one must be faithful to the spouse they marry - of the opposite sex. There is more on marriage, and the rules of conduction in/of marriage, but I will not go into this, you can look the scripture up for up yourself - See - Temples of God--Churches for the definition of whoremonger, you will find it under fornication. Let us take a look at the scripture regarding marriage -

Heb.13:4 - Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. - See - "...Marrying and Giving in Marriage...."

a living sacrifice - Rom.12:1

Heb.10:20 - By a new and living way, which he (Jesus) hath consecrated (or, new made) for us, through the vail, that is to say, his flesh

For more information on the word "vail," please see Parables and Words of the Lord

be not conformed to this world- Rom.12:2

I Peter 1:14 - As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

I John 2:15-16 - Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (16) For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Go back and read the scripture and information under the phrase, "against his own body."

Any person who loves the things in this world -

- then the love of the Father is not in you, but you are of the world which Satan and the works of the flesh are ruling.

In other words the "seed" of the Father is not in us if we love the the things in the world, that is - the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life - these are NOT of the Father's seed - these are the way of Satan. - See - The True Vine, for a list of the works of the flesh

Remember: - The "seed" is the word of God, and it is the way of the fruits of the Spirit - the commandments of God- See - Parable of the sower - Mark and Luke; Parable of the Kingdom and Sower - Matthew

Please read the scriptures again under the phrase - be not conformed to this world, and pay particular attention to what it is saying

Let us continue with -

be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind - Rom.12:2

Eph.1:18 - The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his (God the Father's) calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Eph.4:23 - And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Col.1:21-22 - And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now hath he (God the Father) reconciled. (22) In the body of his (Jesus Christ's) flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and reproveable in his sight:

Please read all of Colossians, chapter 1, for yourself.

Col.3:10 - And have put on the new [man], (person), which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

him - Col.3:10

Read Ephesians, 2:10 for yourself.

what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God - Rom.2:12

Eph.5:10, 17 - Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. (17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].

I Thes.4:3-4 - For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: (4) That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; - See - Temples of God--Churches; Works of the Flesh Word Definintions

The word "vessel," here means your body, and has been explained in the document, Temples of God--Churches

Please continue reading I Thessalonians, chapter 4 for yourself. In the next few phrases, for the most part, I will just give you the scripture and you can look them up and read them for yourself.

be ye not unwise - Eph.5:17

Col.4:5 - Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

in wisdom - Col.4:5

See - Eph.5:15 and I Thes.4:12

understanding what - Eph.5:17

See - Rom.12:2 above again

the will of the Lord [is]- Eph.5:17

I Thes.4:3 - For this is the will of God, [even] your santification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

this is the will of God - I Thes.4:3

See - Eph.5:17 above again.

Let me stress this point again, Jesus did not marry a human, why? Was it because he was not old enough to marry? No. Was it because he could not find a woman to marry? Not likely. Was it because he would have sinned, that is broken one of the ten commandments? Yes.

God the Father was/is Jesus Christ's husband. - See - The Husband and The Bride--The Kingdom of God

John 15:1 - I (Jesus) am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Jesus Christ was married, but not to a human, he was married to God the Father - they are of one mind, or of one spirit in thought and deed, that is what we strive to attain, to be of one spirit/mind with God the Father - to do the fruits of the Spirit, and not to do the works of the flesh.

I John 3:4 - Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

And there was no sin in Christ Jesus, and he left us an example to follow, let us take a look at the next few scriptures.

II Corinthians 5:21 - For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) [to be] for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

I Peter 2:21-22 - For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: (22) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

Jesus did not commit adultery, nor did he commit fornication - that would have been a transgression of the law and sin is the transgression of the law. That is what happened to Adam and the woman (Eve), they broke the one law that God gave them - they were not to eat of the tree of good and evil, they were not to even touch it, lest they die. This is a spiritual death, not a physical death (at this time,) this is where some people are having diffulculty understanding, because they think that they will physically die, but it is a spiritual death, or the absence without the Lord.

I John 3:4 - Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Jesus did not come to change one tittle of the law, but to fulfill. Let us take a look at the scripture in -

Matt.5:18-20 - For verily I (Jesus) say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (19) Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them,] the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (20) For I (Jesus) say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Luke 16:17-18 - And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. (18) Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from [her] husband committeth adultery. - See - "...Marry and Giving in Marriage...."; The Spirit Within and God's Discipline

Our husband is our Maker, the LORD of hosts, our Redeemer the Holy One of Israel - the God of the whole earth. Regardless of gender, it is a spiritual connection or bonding - to be one with the Lord Jesus, just as the Lord Jesus is one with God. Let us look at the scripture in -

Is.54:5 - For thy Maker [is] thine husband: the LORD of hosts [is] his name: and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. - see - Rom.3:29

Jesus did not marry a human - Jesus did not transgress the law - Jesus did no sin.

I John 3:5 - And ye know that he (Jesus) was manifested to take away our sins; and in him (Jesus) is no sin.

Now because Jesus left us an example to follow, do you not think that if we were all right to marry and/or, have close physical activity that goes with being married to a human of the opposite gender, that Jesus would have married and/or committed fornication? After all, he left us an example to follow, and being married or have fornication was not the example he left us.

Yes, I have gone over the scripture which says, "marriage is honourable," if you cannot self-govern yourself, abstain, or, refrain from lust, or doing the works of the flesh but, this was not an example Jesus left with us. If you choose to marry, your spouse must die of natural causes, or be divorced for the correct reasons, (see your Bible for the rules,) then you can repent and commit or devote, yourself completely to God once again. When you are married, you are more committed to your marriage to you (human) spouse than you are to God, and God may view you as being lukewarm towards him, let us look at -

Rev.3:15-16 - I (Jesus) know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I (Jesus) would thou wert cold or hot, (16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I (Jesus) will spue thee out of my mouth.

Make no mistake, "we have all been tried," in many ways including marriage and/or fornication, and sometimes we fall down, but we must get up and try to continue on the "straight path." As I stated above in this document, Satan has declared war in the minds of each individual, it is up to you to cast the serpent/Satan/the devil out of your mind, to conquer, overcome and to gain the victory over the ways of the flesh. Let us look at some scripture for the phrases I have put in quotations.

Rev.3:10 - Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I (Jesus) also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

In the above scripture, what is Jesus referring to when he says "my patience?" First let us look at -

Rev.13:10 - He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. here is the patience and the faith of the saints. - See Sword of the Spirit--Word of God, to see what the Bible is referring to regarding the sword - that is the "spirit" sword.

Rev.14:12 - Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

So in order to be kept from the hour of temptation, which will come upon all of us on earth, we are to keep the commandments and the faith of Jesus. See - Rev.3:10 above again.

The only way that we will be able to enter in at the strait gate of the new city, or, "new Jerusalem," is to keep the commandments of God - all of them, and to conquer, overcome and gain the victory over the works of the flesh, and do the fruits of the Spirit. - See - The True Vine. Allso read Rev.3:12 and 21:2

There is only one way into the "new city" or, "new Jerusalem" let me explain what this means using scripture.

Matt.7:13-14 - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: (14) Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Luke 13:24 - Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I (Jesus) say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Why will we not be able to enter the strait gate? Jesus tells us in -

John 8:44 - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him (the serpent/devil). When he speaketh a lie, he (the devil/serpent) speaketh of his own: for he (the serpent/devil) is a liar, and the father of it. - See - Mark of the Beast--666

The serpent lied to the woman (Eve), the serpent told her, it was all okay to eat (or, partake) of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which is in the midst of the garden. We will have to go from symbolism to reality, back to symbolism again or vise versa, in order to understand this. Remember, in the Bible we are often referred to as a tree. - See - Parable of the Fruit--Tree of Life. We are made from the dust of the ground and as such, we are made up of many different types of trees/plants - the Lord considers us a garden. - (See - Song of Solomon 4:12-15)

The fruit on many trees are produced on the ends, or near the ends,of the branches, but the fruit which humans produce is in the middle of the body/tree/garden. The "fruit" which is in the midst of your garden, are your sexual organs, these man/woman was not to eat or even touch, lest they die , (a spiritual death) - Gen.3:3 The "it" referred to in Gen.3:3, are your sex organs - they were not to commit fornication, and if you do not believe that, then why was God so angry when he found out what they had done. Many of you will say, but they were married to each other and thus it was all right, but remember God was very angry with them, so I guess they were not married to each other in the sense that we refer/think of marriage by today's standards. In fact, if you read the scriptures, you will see that the woman was made for Adam as a "help meet," and I have explained this in Mark of the Beast--666 Also see - "...Marrying and Giving in Marriage...." for more help in understanding marriage.

When did God give permission for Adam and the woman (Eve) to multiply the earth. Why were they driven from the Garden of Eden. What did they do that God was so angry about? Must have been something pretty bad to be expelled from God's garden he had made for them. They broke the first commandment - Thou shalt have no other gods before thee (GOD the Father). Yes, I know, the ten commandments were not yet written and presented to man until they were given to Moses much later, but what was the commandment that God gave Adam. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: ....Gen.2:17 they (Adam and the woman, Eve) were not to even touch it - Gen.3:3 It was the very same commandment that we have for the first commandment today, it is just worded a little differently.

We are told numerous times throughout the Bible, to let no one deceive you, - see - Jer.29:8; Matt.24:4; Mark 13:5; Eph.5:6; II Thes.2:3; I John 3:7, and we are to follow Jesus - Luke 9:23 - And he (Jesus) said to [them] all, If any [man]/person will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Also, John 10:27 - My sheep hear my voice, and I (Jesus) know them, and they follow me:

John 13:15 - For I (Jesus) have given you an example, that ye should do as I (Jesus) have done to you.

I Peter 2:21 - For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

So, Jesus came and showed us by example how we are to live and conduct our lives, it is up to you to conquer, overcome and gain the victory over the works of the flesh to keep the ten commandments - to follow the example Jesus.

We are told to come out of her, (the ways of the world/sins of the world), and be not partakers of her sins, let us take a look at the scripture in -

Rev.18:4 - And I (John) heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

The "sins" referred to here are the ways of the world - the works of the flesh. It is up to you conquer, overcome and to gain the victory over the works of the flesh. You have the power to say "no," you have the power to change, or, to walk away from sin - you have the power to cast Satan out of your life, - but will you do it? REMEMBER: You are responsible for your own salvation - Phil.2:12. - See - Parable of the Sower, or, The True Vine - for a list of the works of the flesh.

Often God uses symbols to explain things, or to make it more difficult to see, hear and understand what he is saying to us. It is up to us, with the help of the Holy Spirit to decipher these symbols to understand the scripture.

After you have read this document, think about the information in the Parable of the Sower.

REMEMBER: Jesus tells us, ...strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. - Matt.7:14, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. - Luke 13:24

In I Cor.3:2, Paul tells the people - I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able [to bear it] neither yet now are ye able. Paul is telling us that they were not able to grasp a deeper meaning of the Lord's word. Are you able to hear the meat (or, a deeper meaning) of the Lord's word?

I give you the information in this document in good faith, it is meant to help you understand your Bible more easily, however, - 1) it may be different than any message you have heard before, 2) may not give you all the answers, and you will need to study your Bible as well as read other documents, but let no one deceive you, prove all things; hold fast that which is good, because, ultimately, you, are responsible for your own salvation.

However, if you are not happy with what I have given you, then there are many other websites that will probably give you what you have already heard in the past that will make you happy and you will be able to carry on with man's traditions.

But remember what Jesus told the people, we are to strive to enter in at the strait gate - Luke 13:24, When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: - (vs.25)

You may think you are doing the Lord's work and following his ways, but if you are not following his commandments - all of them, then you will not be able to enter the strait gait, and once the door has been closed, it will be to late, and even though you may stand at the door and knock and ask the Lord to open, he will tell you I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all [ye] workers of iniquity. - See - Luke 13:24-27

In Mark 7: 6 - Jesus calls the Pharisees hypocrites and tells them, ...This people honoureth me with [their] lips, but their heart is far from me. (7) Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men. (8)For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and other such like things ye do. (9) And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. We appear to be clean on the outside, but, we are not clean on the inside, we still follow the traditions of man, many of us still believe the serpent's/Satan's lie/deception and are stumbling into his pit, we are following his lie, and the works of the flesh.

If we think that we are going to be able to get into the Kingdom of God and still continue to follow the traditions of men, and lay aside the commandment of God, you are living in a bubble. Yes, God loves us, and he has tolerated us for a long time hoping that we will come to our senses, repent and change our ways, but many of will not, and even those of us who are luke warm, God will spue out of his mouth. When Jesus comes to gather his saints, not many of us will be with him to be heirs and joint-heirs with him when he returns to rule the earth and judgment day will find many of us wanting, or, on the outside looking in. In otherwords, what you may not learn to do now, you will learn to do when Jesus returns, make no mistake, there will be no Satan to follow - Satan's way of life will not be, there will be no sin for a thousand years. - See - The Husband, The Bride--The Kingdom of God; Judgment, The First Resurrection and the Second Death

This is what our Lord and Saviour wants to do for us -

Acts 26:18 - To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Jesus)

Repent, change your ways from man's traditions - conquer, overcome and gain the victory over the works of the flesh, and do the fruit of the Spirit and keep the commandments of God, all of them. - See - The True Vine; also see - "...Marrying and Giving in Marriage....", Part I and Part II

Read and/or study the Parable of the Sower, and see what category you fall into. Will it be necessary for you to make some changes in your life? Are you willing to make changes in your life, to follow the commandments of God - all of them? are you willing to make the inside (your thoughts/your mind) clean. If the inside is clean, your actions will be clean also. Read the list, the works of the flesh and conquer, overcome and gain the victory over them.

Let us end this Bible study with a prayer - O God thy heavenly Father, please help me to be a better person each day, to follow the commandments, and help me to strive each day to be more in thy presence, in Jesus name I ask. Amen.
