John 10:7 - Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
John 10:9 - I am the door: by me if any man (or person) enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Jesus is the good shepherd and he knows those who are following God's laws and he laid down his life for them, See - Sign, Mark and Seal of God
Heb.13:20-21 - Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, (or testament) (21) Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever, Amen.
