In this document, Heir and Joint-Heir with Christ, I will show you that Jesus Christ, the Son of God/Son of man, will be given for his inheritance and possession - the earth, and the government, or rule, shall be upon his shoulders, and all people, nations, and languages shall serve him. And his dominion, or kingdom, will be an everlasting kingdom and shall not pass away, nor will it be destroyed. Wherefore God hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name, that is Jesus, and every knee should bow of things in heaven, in earth and things under the earth.

Let us begin this Bible study with a prayer, O God, thy heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom and knowledge, so that I may be able to understand this document, in Jesus name. Amen.
Heb.1:1-4 - God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, (2) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (3) Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (4) Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
whom he (God) hath appointed heir - Heb.1:2
Ps.2:7-8 - I (God) will declare the (or, for a) decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I (God) begotten thee. (8) Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession
Those who do not believe Jesus is the Son of God/Son of man, and who do not follow the commandments of God, all of them, are heathens.
ask of me, and I shall give [thee] - Ps.2:8
Dan.7:13-14 - I, (Daniel) saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the Son of man come with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. (14) And there was given him (the Son of man) dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed. See - The Root or Stem of Jesse - A Righteous Branch/Holy One
John 17:4-5 - I (Jesus, the Son of God) have glorified thee (God) on the earth: I have finished the work which thou (God) gavest me to do. (5) And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I (Jesus) had with thee (God) before the world was.
So Jesus, the Son of God/Son of man, came down to earth, for a specific purpose or job, and that was to follow the commandments of God - all of them, to live a life free from sin, to be crucified, so that he bare the sins of the world, and show the people the way into the kingdom of heaven or God. And Jesus has asked the Father, to glorify him (Jesus) with him (the Father), which he (Jesus) had with the Father before the world was, in other words, to give him back his status which he had before he came to earth.
John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 10:30 - I (Jesus) and my Father are one.
They are of the same thoughts - mind ( heart, or seat of the mind)
the Word - John 1:1
Rev.19:13 - And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
I John 5:7 - For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
the Word was with God - John 1:1
Zech.13:7 - Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man [that is] my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
the Word was God - John1:1
Is.9:6 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The might God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: - Zec.13:7
Mark 14:27 - And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
The following verses in Is.53:2-10, will be a quick overview of God's suffering servant, Jesus, also, "the shepherd," referred to in the above verse
Is.53:2-10 - For he (Jesus) shall grow up before him (God) as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him. - See - Root or Stem of Jesse - A Righteous Branch/Holy One, (3) He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (4) Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried out sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. (5) But he [was] wounded (or, tormented) for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes (or, bruises) we are healed. (6) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. See - Fountains of Living Waters vs. Cisterns, also, Baptize, Salvation, Faith, Dead and Death, (7) He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers [is] dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. (8) He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people he was stricken. (9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth. (10) Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
an offering for sin- Is.53:10
II Cor.5:21 - For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Also see explanation of "sweet Savour" in Baptize, Salvation, Faith, Dead and Death
he shall prolong [his] days- Is.53:10Rom.6:9-10 - Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. (10) For in that he (Christ) died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; - Rom.6:9-10
Rev.1:18 - I (Jesus) [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell (Gr. Hades, the grave, or resting place) and of death. - See - Judgment, The First Resurrection and The Second Death
The pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand - Is.53:10
Eph.1:5 - Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, - Eph.1:5
John 1:11-12 - He (Jesus) came unto his own, and his own received him not. (12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
John 3:5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man (person) be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. - See - Born Again (or, From Above)
Again, let us read John 1:12 - But as many as received him, (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
In the previous scripture, John 1:11 - He (Jesus) came unto his own, and his own received him not. Jesus first came to the Jews and they did not like the message that he brought to them, but those who did receive him, he gave to them the power to become the sons of God, even them that believed on his name. You, can become the son of God if, you believe on his name, live a righteous life - that is follow the commandments of God - all of them, and overcome, conquer, and gain the victory over the qualities and characteristics of the "works of the flesh," and strive to attain the "fruits of the Spirit," - see - The True Vine. You can also pray to God and ask for the peace of Jerusalem, asking that the works of the flesh enter your mind no more, and ask that God help you attain the "fruits of the Spirit," - see - Pray and Prayer
In John 10 after Jesus has told the people the story of the Good Shephard, there was a division among the Jews for what he had said, and some of them wanted to stone Jesus because they felt that he, (Jesus) had blasphemed the name of God because he had called himself the Son of God.
In the document, The Spirit Within Us and God's Discipline, (to be typed/listed soon,) I showed you that when you die, your spirit returns unto God who gave it, let us take a moment to look at that scripture again in -
Eccl.12:7 - Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
I John 3:22 - And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
I John 4:13 - Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
We have a part of God within us, it is up to us not to break the commandments of God, because when we do we defile God's spirit which he has given us.
Now let us look at the next two scriptures -
John 10:34 - Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Ps. 82:6 - I (GOD) have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High.
In John 10:34 and Ps.82:6, notice that the word god is printed with a small "g," not with a capital, and it is not written with an apostrophe "s," which would mean that we belong to God, and we do belong to God, because God created or made everything, and we are his children, but there is no apostrophe in this phrase and this is not what this script is referring to. It is saying that - we are "gods."
This is important for you to understand, in order for you, or us, to reign with Jesus Christ when he returns to rule and reign for a thousand years, you must live a righteous life just as Jesus lived a righteous life. Jesus came and showed us by example that it is possible to live a righteous life - to attain the qualities and characteristics of the "fruits of the Spirit," and follow the ten commandments - all of them.
So do not go getting yourself all puffed up and thinking how important you are, that is what happened to the serpent/the devil/Satan - Lucifer. He thought or, thinks, himself so beautiful and has puffed himself up to be important in his own mind and has deceived most of the people into following him and the works of the flesh, - see - The True Vine, for a list of "the works of the flesh." After all, Satan/Lucifer, thinks he is going to be like the most high and defeat God and sit on God's throne - see and read Isaiah chapter 14 for yourself.
We are told in Gen.1:26 - And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: .... and vs. 27 - So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
in our image - Gen.1:26Eph.4:24 - And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
And because you are a "god," made, or, created in the image of God, this is what we are supposed to do, or how you are to act towards one another, as well as glorifying God, as I will show you a bit later -
Eph.4:25-32 - Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. (26) Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: (27) Neither give place to the devil. (28) Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. (29) Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. (30) And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of dedemption. (31) Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: (32) And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Please continue reading Ephesians, chapter 5 for yourself.
John 4:24 - God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.
Jesus came as the Son of God/Son of man and right after he had been baptised, the Holy Spirit descended upon him from God the Father, and it is when Jesus officially took on the role as our Lord and Saviour, Matt.3:16-17; and immediately after he received the Holy Spirit Jesus was led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil for forty days and nights, Matt.4:1-9, at the end of which time, Jesus told Satan that he worshipped only God and nothing and nobody else and cast Satan behind him - Matt.4:10-11. Jesus was human and he showed us how to cast Satan/the devil/the serpent out of our lives. It was the serpent which tempted the woman, (Eve) and Adam and they did not cast him (the serpent) out, they fell for the tricks of the devil - they were deceived in to believing it did not matter if they went against God's commandment he had given Adam (and the woman (Eve,) was well aware of this commandment.)
Jesus told us in Matt.12:38, that if he cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you, (or, us). In Luke 10:17-18 - the (seventy) disciples returned to Jesus and said unto the Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he (Jesus) said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Remember, the serpent/the devil/Satan, is a spirit, and when Jesus said I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven, he is referring to spirit of Satan/the devil, falling from your mind - which means, as you cast the devil out of your mind, you are no longer going to allow the devil and the works of the flesh, to rule your life and you will not walk in darkness of Satan's ways. You have the power over your own mind, and you believe in Jesus Christ is the Son of God/Son of man, pray for God's help and strengh to do the fruits of the Spirit and ask God to no longer let the works of the flesh enter your mind - ask this in Jesus name, because Jesus said, ask and it shall be given unto you - Matt.7:7, Luke 11:9.
You are not even to lust after a person, or give pleasure in your mind either, because this is still considered fornication and the works of the flesh. You have to cast these out of your mind also.
Now let us take a moment to look at this -
Did the Bible ever indicate that Jesus married? No. Why do you suppose Jesus did not marry? Let us look at this a little more carefully.
In John 10 the Jews were going to stone Jesus because he said he was "the Son of God" - vs. 36 - Jesus was and is, the Lord God, but he still has GOD the Father over him. Now the very first commandment states - Thou shalt have no other gods before thee.
Let me repeat that - Thou shalt have no other gods before thee (GOD the Father). Now remember I have explained above, that we are "gods," and when you marry, you have placed another person/"god" before GOD the Father. The reason we were put here on earth is to glorify GOD, not to to worship another "god" or, person - your spouse and your children, if you have any, and not to give yourself sexual pleasures of the mind - in other words, lusting. - See - The First and Seventh Commandment, for more information on the first commandment, to be typed/listed soon
We are not here on earth for our own pleasures, but we are here to glorify God, and follow his commandments - all of them.
Let me give you some scripture to show you that you are to glorify God.
Ps.86:12 - I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
Rom.15:6 - That ye may with one mind [and] one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I Cor.6:20 - For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Rev.15:4 - Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name for [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
In this next scripture it does state that marriage is honourable, but it also goes on to qualify that the bed must be undefiled (not made unclean by whoremongers and adulterers. There is more on marriage, and the rules of conduction in/of marriage, but I will not go into this, you can look the scripture up for up yourself - See - Temples of God--Churches for the definition of whoremonger, you will find it under fornication.
Now getting back to the subject of marriage -
Heb.13:4 - Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
But let us look at what Paul says in -
I Cor.7:1-2, 7-9 - Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: [It is] good for a man not to touch a woman. (2) Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. (7) For I (Paul) would that all men were even as I (Paul) myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. (8) I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I (Paul). (9) But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
Let us review the above scripture - it is good for a man not to touch a woman (and vise versa,) however, if you cannot contain, or, keep yourself from fornication (having sex) or lusting, then it is better to let every man have his own wife and every woman to have her own husband, for it is better to marry than to burn. But Paul says, ...it is good for them if they abide even as I, (vs. 8,) Paul did not marry a human, but was devoted wholly and completely to God, after he saw the light and heard the voice of Jesus.
When God created the woman, (Eve) from Adam's rib, he created her as Adam's "help meet," not a sex mate - she was to be a companion for him, so he would have someone to talk with and to praise and glorify God with. It was not until they had disobeyed God's commandment, not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, (they were not to even look at it,) that God became angry with them. For more information on this, please see - The Spirit Within Us and God's Discipline - if it is not listed it will be typed soon
It is up to you to overcome, conquer and gain the victory over the works of the flesh, if you want to be part of the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself
as many as received him - John 1:12
Is.56:5 - Even unto them will I (the LORD) give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
Rom.8:15 - For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father
Gal.3:26 - For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
I will also include verses 27-29, to show you that we are all in Christ Jesus if you have been baptized into Christ and live a righteous live, that is, you are trying to overcome, conquer and gain the victory of the works of the flesh, and you are following the commandments of God - all of them. - See Fountains of Living Waters vs. Cisterns; Born Again (or, From Above)
(27) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (29) And if ye [be[ Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
II Peter 1:4 - Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the devine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
I John 3:1 - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, (you and me,) that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, (that is, the God family) because it knew him (Jesus) not.
See - Is.56:5 above again under "as many as received him," also -
Gal.4:5-6 - To redeem them that were under the law, (those who follow the Jewish laws, other than the ten commandments,) that we might receive the adoption of sons. (6) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son (Jesus Christ) into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
In this next scripture, Paul tells us that he has begotten us through the (belief of the) gospel of Christ Jesus.
I Cor. 4:15 - For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet [have] not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
house and within my walls - Is.56:5
I Tim.3:15 - But is I (Jesus Christ/the LORD) should tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground (or, stay, or, undergirding) of the truth. - See - Temples of God--Churches
all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus - Gal.3:26
See - John 1:12 above again
one in Christ Jesus - Gal.3:28
John 10:16 - And other sheep I (Jesus) have, which are not of the fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd
John 17:21 - That they all may be one; as thou Father, [art] in me, and I (Jesus) in thee, (Father), that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou (the Father) hast sent me, (Jesus).
In John 10:16, Jesus is referring to those who do not yet believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God/Son of man, who came and lived a righteous life, who gave his life as our "sweet saviour," so that we no longer have to sacrifice an unblemished lamb, goat, etc, - Jesus Christ did this once and for all those who believe in him - Jesus is the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me - Jesus Christ. - John 14:6
thou Father [art] in me and I (Jesus) in thee - John 17:21
John 10:37-38 - If I (Jesus) do not the works of my Father, believe me not. (38) But if I (Jesus) do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father [is] in me, and I in him.
In John 17:21 and John 10:37-38 , Jesus is telling us if we believe that the Father sent him, or believe in the works of Jesus, that we may be as one with the Father, just as the Father is in Jesus Christ.
if ye [be Christ's - Gal.3:29
Gen.21:10 - Wherefore she (Sarah) said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, [even] with Isaac.
The reason why Sarah told Abraham to cast the bondwoman and her son out from the tribe, is because the son was making fun or, mocking her son, Isaac for keeping the laws of God, and Sarah did not want the bondwoman's child to influence her own.
Let me continue with scripture for "if ye [be] Christ's -
Rom.9:7 - Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, [are they] all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
Please read all of Romans, chapter 9 on God's mercy, and notice what it says in vs. 8 - ...For they [are] not all Israel, which are of Israel. I have explained the word "Israel," in, The Root or Stem of Jesse - A Righteous Branch/Holy One/Savious-Jesus Christ
Heb.11:18 - Of whom it was said, that in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
heirs according to the promise - Gal.3:29
Rom.8:17 - And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him,] that we may be also glorified together.
For more information on joint-heirs with Christ, please see the heading below.
are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises - II Peter 1:4
II Cor.7:1 - Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Also read all of II Corinthians, chapter 6, as well, read Parable of the Fruit--Tree of Life
be partakers of the devine nature - Gal.3:29
II Cor.3:18 - But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Did you see and understand the above scripture? But we are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. When it is the appropriate time, those who believe Jesus is the Son of God/Son of man and are following the commandments of God - all of them, having conquered, overcome and gained the victory of the works of the flesh, will be changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. It is really up to you, if you want to be partakers of the devine nature.
Eph.4:23-24 - And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Heb.12:10 - For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he (God) for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.
In the above scripture, Hebrew 12:10, the, "For they," the word "they" is referring to your biological parents, or guardian, the people or person who took care of you as a young child. In this next verse, we see that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and teaches us how we are to live in this present world. Let us take a look at -
Titus2:11-12 - For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (people) (or, that bringeth salvation to all men, (people), hath appeared), (12) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Now let us continue with scripture for, "be partakers of the divine nature"
I John 3:2 - Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that when he (Jesus) shall appear, we shall be like him: for we shall see him (Jesus) as he is.
Read the above verse again, slowly.
So if you want to be a partaker of the divine nature, we need to live a righteous life, and to do this we must keep the commandments of God, all of them, do the fruits of the Spirit and overcome, conquer and gain the victory over the works of the flesh. Read II Cor.3:18 above again. - See - Parable of the Fruit-Tree of Life; The True Vine; Ten Commandments
the government shall be upon his (Jesus Christ's) shoulder - Is.9:6
Matt.28:18 - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
I Cor.15:25 - For he (Jesus) must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
Phil.2:9-11 - Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (10) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; (11) And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
I Peter 3:22 - Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him (Jesus).
Rev.17:14 - These (the followers of evil, or bad beasts) shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he (the Lamb) is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him [are] called, and chosen, and faithful.
So Jesus has been appointed heir of all things, Heb.1:2 and having come to earth and glorified God as the Son of man - the Word of God, John 17:4-5, returned to be with the glory of the Father, John 1:1 and Rev.19:13, having borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, so that we would have a way into the kingdom of God, who offered himself for sin, so that we could have the righteousness of God by the sacrifice of which he, Jesus did, Is.53:2-9, and the government shall be upon the shoulder of Jesus, Is.9:6.
But, let me make it perfectly clear to you, that you will never be equal or above Jesus Christ here on earth, because Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords - I Tim.6:15, and even when Jesus returns he is still King of kings and Lord of lords - Rev.17:14; 19:16. Please read all of I Timothy, chapter 6, it will show you how we are to act and live our lives, I will just give you the following verse.
I Timothy 6:15 - Which in his times he (God) shall shew, [who is] the blessed and only Potentate, [#1413], the King of kings, and Lord of lords.

You are a church - to have a better understanding of this - See - Temples of God--Churches. ...To him that overcometh will I (Jesus) give to eat of the hidden manna, .... (22) For we know that the whole creature groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. (6) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying Abba, father. So to become a joint-heir with Christ, we must suffer with him, (by this, I do not mean that we will be crucified like Jesus was, but that we will suffer, in some form), Rom.8:16-17, live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world, Titus 2:11-12, and follow peace with all men (people), and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord, Heb.12:14-15, overcome, conquer, and gain the victory over the works of the flesh, Gal.5:19-21, and of course, follow the commandments of God all of them.
For the righteous, or the pure in heart - shall see God face to face, but it is not known what we shall look like, but we shall be like him, (Jesus), when he appears, for we shall see him as he is - I Cor.13:12 and I John 3:2-3.
The eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
