Remembering Lucy Maud Montgomery is a collection of first hand reminiscences by Lucy Maud’s friends, family, servants and neighbours. As a minister’s wife, mother and world famous author Lucy Maud Montgomery was a very busy woman who learned early on to balance her life and not let her worries darken other people’s lives with her worries.
How was her relationship with her husband? Her children? What was her daily routine like? How and when did she write? How much did she participate in the daily tasks around the house? As a minister's wife, what tasks did she take on? Did the community really like her? These are just a few of the questions asked in Remembering Lucy Maud Montgomery that reveal how she appeared to those who knew her.
Included with these frank interviews is a collection of photographs – some never before published, from private photo albums. Articles written about Lucy Maud Montgomery during her lifetime close the book and offer us further insight into one of Canada’s best known and most loved authors.
If you can't find it at your
