Fundación Valparaiso

In 1989 Paul Beckett, a Danish artist, and his wife Beatrice, established the Fundación Valparaiso in an historic olive mill  situated on the south coast of Spain, ten minutes walk from the picturesque village of Mojacar.  This international residence was established to provide an opportunity for artists of all disciplines to have a month in which to pursue their investigations free from the day to day obligations of their normal lives.

The Fundación provides room and board as well as studio space for up to eight artists a month for ten months of the year.
