Very Fudgy Brownies (low fat)

Makes 1 8x8 pan

  • 2 Tbsp potato starch or egg replacer, beaten with 3 Tbsp water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • dash salt
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup flour or matzo meal
  • 1/4 cup raisins

Mix the first four ingredients in a bowl until well-combined.  Add the remaining ingredients, mix well, and pour into a greased or lined 8x8 baking pan.

Bake at 325F for 25-30 minutes.

When cool, cut into squares.
