Hi and welcome to my web page. My name is JoAnn Griffin and my interest in pottery began over thirty years ago when I learned to throw clay on a potter's wheel.
My obsession with vintage pottery has been growing steadily for the last twenty some years. I hope you enjoy browsing through these three pages of pottery treasures which were made mostly by McCoy as well as Brush McCoy, Shawnee, Haeger, Robinson Ransbottom, Weller, Morton, Japanese and some mysteries. On the first page you will find vases. The second page will be filled with planters, flower pots and jardiniers. The third page will be filled with bowls, lamps, figurals and everything else. I will also occasionally add vintage items that are not pottery. I try to update the site often, so watch for the little flower which shows the new items. Because of the age of these pieces they often come with pinholes, glaze pops or other factory made problems. To me this is what adds character to each piece. My descriptions explain the problems that are done after the factory or a factory problem that would distract from the piece. Click on the thumbprint to see the enlarged photo. Some pieces are marked "HNH top 100" from the reference book, McCoy Pottery Vol. II. These are considered harder to find or very desirable. Brush McCoy 6" Peach-Bloom Ivotint vase from 1929 (item #2875) Super condition. There are some factory glaze pops on one side. A beautiful vase. $195.00

McCoy 8-1/2" matte blue stoneware vase (item #j237) Excellent condition without any post factory flaws. I would say the color on this vase is closer to periwinkle than colbalt. $85.00

Three McCoy 8" matte brown and green stoneware vases (item #2744a) Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or hairlines. The color combination on these vases is very soft and beautiful. The three of them make a wonderful grouping. $60.00 each or $170 for the group

McCoy 12" matte white vase (item #2859) Excellent condition. This HUGE vase is a real beauty and difficult to find in this size! See the larger photo which includes a picture of a 6" vase. A wonderful piece for all kinds of flowers. $140.00

McCoy 8" matte aqua Tulip vase (item #2617) Excellent condition. There are a few scattered pinholes. This is such a sweet vase. $70.00

McCoy 5" gloss white stoneware Cornucopia vase (item #2852) Excellent condition. This is the tiny one and the one that is hard to find, particularly in a gloss finish. A great piece for your collection. $45.00
