1894 Waltham 18 size Case is somewhat worn, especially the main case perimeter which has plate missing, but it still looks good overall and has a great dial. There are no visible chips or cracks in this 'American Waltham' signed 24 hour dial, and the hands appear to be original as well. The crystal is scratch free mineral and may be a replacement as it looks super. The design is still visible in the case back, which shows little wear through, and the movement is running well, It's signed 'American Waltham Watch Co.' 'Safety Pinion' and is numbered 6381XXX, dating it to approx. 1894. It appears to be a model 83, 7 jewel and is stem wind/stem set. The crown appears to be a replacement. A decent looking and running Waltham. |

Swiss made Ca. 1880 12 size (approx.) My guess at an age would be ca. 1880. Key wind & set. Single sunk dial. Case looks to be silver, although there are no hallmarks, triple hinged. Bezel opens to revel the dial and the back opens to allow you to wind it or set the time through the dust cover with a small brass key. The key has a 6 on one side, making it a size 6 key and a flower of some kind on the other. The T bar is marked but I can't read it even with a loupe. Has tapered chain with spring clip and old cigar punch. There are no markings of any kind on the movement. On the balance cock is marked S & F only (no French). On the inside of the back of the case is 800/1000 also 33927 which is also on the inside of the dust cover.
