The Hastings County Historical Society

About Us

The Hastings County Historical Society was established in 1957 to promote interest in the history of Hastings County. The objectives of the Society are:

  • To promote, encourage and enter into research on the history of Hastings County.
  • To provide information and education services on the history of Hastings to its citizens, and particularly it's students.
  • To maintain archives for the deposit of historically significant documents.
  • To encourage the preservation, use, maintenance and enjoyment of all historically significant objects and buildings in Hastings County.
  • To promote activities necessary for the preservation of the culture of the people of Hastings County.
