The Shire of Noergate is a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism -- a world-wide organization that encourages its members to study and re-create all that was good about the High Middle Ages.

Noergate, located predominantly in the city of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, is located in the Kingdom of Ealdormere. The northwestern most shire in Ealdormere, our shire first existed in the early 1980s but unfortunately faded away by the mid to late 80s. The current shire has existed since 1996, we became a full status Shire in March of 1999 during the reign of the first Ealdormerian King and Queen.

Within these pages you will find information on upcoming events, workshops, and meetings within this shire. You'll also find a contact page linking you with the e-mail accounts of our officers (when possible) or the mundane address when not. As always comments and questions about this shire are welcome and encouraged.
