Owen MacPherson's KR2 Construction Page
(All
the same old krap, at an exciting new URL!)

“Buzzard flight” - Summer /02
It has taken a while to get the pages
loaded on the new server. Part of the
delay has been due to limits imposed by my new web host. I had to compress all the images in order to
fit everything into their space limit.
I hope they retain enough detail to still be of use. The old address
http://webhome.idirect .com/~omacphe is no longer under my control and will
likely be deactivated soon, so if you plan to come back bookmark this page.
A lot of flying and a fair bit of fixin
has gone on since the last update.
Details of the effects the modifications have had will be forthcoming.
I plan to pedal The Gadget to Oshkosh this year (with another Toronto area KR). Hope to see you there!
The intent of publishing these pages is to
document the progress of my project, a Rand Robinson KR2. I hope they may be of
some value to those of you who are building (or interested in building) a KR2
or, more likely now, a KR2S.
I have been working on my KR2 now for
some time. What you see here is essentially my builder's log (minus some of the
more colourful descriptions, like how I really feel about sanding).
My new email address is omacphe@sympatico.ca if you
have comments or questions. Please note that if you ask a question I will
answer to the best of my ability but I'm really not that bright. I can make no
guarantee as to the suitability of any advice contained in these pages or that
sent via email.
Once
upon a time in a hanger far, far away...
