The PANORAMA
organization (also known as the London District Cultural Festival Association),
is a collection of London cultural groups led by representatives from the
various clubs.
The organization is pledged to focusing
its collective energies on multicultural education and promoting recognition
of the important role of London's ethnocultural communities.
The PANORAMA
organization also offers a range of services to the community, including
multicultural counselling and the provision of food and entertainment for
meetings, conventions and other social gatherings.
The event with which the organization
is most closely associated is the annual PANORAMA
festival.
ATTENTION CRICKET FANS:
1997 marks
the 125th Anniversary of the London Cricket Club. As part of their celebration
they will be presenting Panorama
Cricketfest.
On Sunday, September 21st, the weekend before
Panorama,
the club will be hosting a day long eight-a-side tournament comprising
cricket playing cultural communities, as well as some media personalities
at the Upper Thames Conservation Area. For more information contact Andrew
