I'll spare you all the silly details of myself and my life. You can go here for that.
Here's my main page with all the reviews.
Here's
my top 10 (sorta) must-have DVDs. It's not the most stable thing
in the world, but at the moment, these are my picks!
Here's
my top 10 DVD list for 2006.
Here's
my top 10 DVD list for 2005.
You obviously know you're here to read what I have to say about whatever movie you may find on this page. Okay, so the page itself is absurdly simple and looks really primitive. A few reasons for that: to save on webspace, and I don't have all the time in the world to design an IMDB-type page. I suppose you could say that a third reason is that my HTMLing skills leave a lot to be desired.
Here, I'll review DVDs. Go here if feel like reading about me some more. For those who are interested, you can go here to see what I watch my movies on. Go here to see how I review the movies on this site. Go here to see what I like. Or, if you have the inclination, you can go here to listen to me rant about whatever takes my fancy (although there are none at the moment). I also have short words to say about some pretty obscure, really rare movies. You can find my thoughts on those here.
What distinguishes my site from others? Well, nothing really. If you're like me, you like to know what other people think about different movies. So that's why my site is here. I neither have the time nor the money to go through every DVD I'd like to go through, so if you want info about every DVD coming out, you can go here or here or here or even here. I'm just a regular guy who loves movies and felt like putting up a website. I can just review a certain amount of movies based on my schedule. I also do work for a couple of other websites, so obviously some of my time is taken up by that.
Which reminds me: if you just happen to be from a studio, and feel like sending me an advance copy of a DVD coming out soon, I'll be glad to review if for you. You can email me here.
I love DVDs. I figure I'll talk about everything that finds itself on a specific DVD. The thing that interests me the most is the extras. Knowing everything there is to know about movies is a passion of mine, so I love it when movies are packed with stuff. I like to think that any extra is better than no extra.
If you have any questions, you can email me, or if you have any suggestions about what DVD's you'd like me to review, you can email me, or if you'd like me review a movie I own but have not reviewed yet, you can email me, or if you'd just like to say hi, you can email me. I have seen many more movies than what's on my page (well... I hope so), so if you want to discuss anything, you can email me. Whatever you want to say. Call me a genius or call me an idiot, if I like it, I'll put it on this page.
I had a banner for One HD Format Only but obviously that didn't happen (and both sides messed up big time on the release of their initial hardware, but that's another story...)
One last thing, although it may be useless
given the way Hollywood never changes:

I find this quite important. Until it's resolved (or until I take
down my webpage) it'll stay there.
Find any problems? (you know, broken links and suchlike) Email me.
Happy reading!
Pat
