The first photograph shows the
birth of John Phillips, the son of Elisha and Innocent on May 28, 1737.
The record was found by my Cousin Lovel Lord at the
Town Hall in New Milford, Connecticut in the
Land Records, Volume 7 Page 6 (13). The second
photo is the certification for the record.
The record also lists the children of Innocent
(Butts) after she re-married to William Knowles after the
death of Elisha.
This
photograph shows the marriage of John Phillips and Ann Burden on November 18, 1757.
