If we had one disappointment about New Zealand it was that we did not leave ourselves enough time in the country. We only spent twelve days in New Zealand. From our experience, I'm surprised they can get any of the visitors to depart. We did not visit a friendlier country in our nine months of travel. While in Rotorua we visited a local Maori cultural centre. We were shown the traditional method of greeting guests as well as some native dances and songs. The evening ended with a traditional dinner cooked in an in ground oven. We traveled throughout New Zealand with Magic Tours. We found this a cheap and informative method of travel. I would recommend in to anyone traveling to New Zealand.
