Welcome to Hedwig in a Box, formerly the home of the official
Hedwig and The Angry Inch International Fan Club.

Hedwig in a Box was created in 1999 as a fan site devoted to Hedwig and The Angry Inch. I had to make the hard decision to turn the site and fan club into an archive. I will no longer be hosting the old site for the musical play and film, but will maintain this mini site to keep old fans in touch and for new fans to have a place to visit. That is what the forum is for.

The forum which I am proud to be part of will remain open and up to date, and I can be reached from there. A special thanks to Dan for hosting the forum for so long on www.zchicken.com.

Any new play productions can list their shows in the play section for free. Same goes for shadow casts for the movie, in the movie section. The hedhead area can be used to post any new news related to Hedwig.

Note: There's been a lot of spam posts recently. I try and delete them as soon as they pop up. Please do not reply to any of them or click any links related to them. I'd hate for someone to get spyware, viruses or worse on their computers from these nucances.

The old site is still online to a certain degree and can be viewed with the last copy at ARCHIVE.ORG here.

Forum, please consider closed.

It's with great dissapointment that I have to say that the forum is closed. I've removed the direct link from my site. The forum was taken over by very bad and inappropriate spam. It only got worse over the last year. Several moderators were appointed to help clear the mess up, but no matter how much or how fast they worked it only came back and even more so. I do not support the kind of links and messages that have been posted. The forum is for all ages and I do not want underage people or those that may be offended to be viewing what's been added. We should not be forced to see this. Most importantly, I am unable to even go in and post messages to my own forum or even delete messages.

There has not been enough activity or contact from fans to upkeep the forum. It's in a state of disrepair. I've had a team of great helpers to cut down and remove the spam, but even with that it's way out of control and took over the entire forum in all thread and groups. It's disgusting what's been put on there. Just know that I don't want that there, but have no control over it. Please don't open any of it!

I may consider opening up a new forum in the future. The traffic for real fans has diminished greatly and if enough real people contacted me and convinced me I may start one up.

We've hit the 10 year anniversary for Hedwig. A Hedwig in a Box is 10 years old. I've made the decision to move the site from hedwiginabox.com. Please bookmark this pages url for the site. This will remain here as a tribute to all the long years and great people that have been involved with this play and movie. I've meet a lot of wonderful fans and people directly involved with the show and movie. It's been a real pleasure and will always hold a special place in my heart and memories. My thanks and gratitute to all that were involved.

2007 will mark 8 years for the site. Hedwig will have an anniversary soon!

Forum news: Please ignore the "Off topics" section as it's loaded with nothing but really, really bad spam.

We have 3 new forum moderators. They are CalgaryHed, Alfgio and Hed-Head Mae. They are all wonderful Hedwig fans who have been around for many, many years. Their future help to relieve the forum of spam and to keep the board in control is greatly appreciated.
