These two drums are HAND CARVED, have DEER HIDE HEADS attached with DOWELS and RAWHIDE laces. They are carved from MAPLE

I believe that I get my drive to work with wood from my dad who is a carpenter, and my desire to combine it with music or drumming from my mom whom I remember as always singing around the house when I was young.

REMOVING EXCESS MOISTURE AND FITTING THE HEAD

AFTER THE HEAD DRIED I PAINTED AN ABSTRACT ON IT!

NEW HEAD ATTACHED, DRY AND READY FOR THE PLAYING!

My dad is the carpenter who put the pieces of this drum together for me. Thanks Dad.

THIS is a "Cajon"

It is all wood including the "wood-paneling 'heads' Both are attached and are six-sided There are two playing surfaces of different pitch and all the sides have different pitches.
