This was my first professional job, and my first paycheque, all of $130! We performed "The Drunkard" in an old barn at King's Landing Historical Settlement in New Brunswick. To cross from stage left to stage right you had to exit out the barn doors into a cow pasture, and on hot days the cows would lean up against the shaded door, and you had to shove the thing aside to make your entrance on the other side. Between shows we would wander the grounds of the Settlement, "calling up" an audience. Now there's 19th century promotion.(Nice pose, Dave.....)
