This page is like the graveyard out behind the barn. The one we used to walk by on our way to the woods, to play beside the frog pond or smoke cigarettes in the woods. Life went on. So this is the virtual graveyard behind the virtual barn.
I only witnessed one burial service there and I was much too young to appreciate it. I think it was Henri Brouillet. The whole school was there. It was the first funeral I had ever been to. We eighth graders snickered in the background, completely insensitive to the occassion. I feel ashamed of that now. Now that I know we are all headed in this direction.
